Is it fun? Sure. Played the whole DLC in what felt like less than 2hrs (it adds 4 story missions). If you have the season pass, of course, play it. I know that if I didn't I would be livid after paying full price

This time I figured I'd try out PES and see if it improved on any of things I find FIFA games are lacking in. Turns out in my experience so far PES 2021 is worse in almost every way.

I only put it about 8 hours and didn't even finish that main quest-line, maybe someday I'll go back to this game and finish, but I don't know why I would do that.

Okay, if another person describes this as XCOM with Mechs I'll lose my ♥♥♥♥. This game's battle/combat isn't even in the same league as XCOM. I feel like the only important tactical decision you can make is what terrain your mech is standing on. I'm yet to discover any abilities that really change how I use my mechs. As for diversity in the classes. It just seems like light mechs can run further.....cool. I feel the pacing is wayyyyyy slllooooowww. It shouldn't have taken 10 minutes to run to a extraction point over 2 turns, but it did... Also unlike XCOM the campaign. The campaign is actually this games saving grace. It is the only thing compelling me to complete battles. Maybe just because it isn't a battle. Mostly, I think it's because the story is pretty cool (from what I've seen so far). I kinda wish they would throw in an option to auto-resolve battles like in Total War games. I'm going to put more hours into the game and if I discover something new I'll change review, but after 8 hours I'm not feeling it.

edit: Okay, so I was wrong and I've changed my mind. If this game didn't run so poorly I would be in love with it. I might still love it besides the performance issues. I'll admit there are a fair amount of nuanced tactical choices that make it fun if that's your thing. I still think it's no X-Com. The devs need to do some serious updates to make it work for everyone. my laptop is weak, but these gfx are not crazy and on low it should run above 20 fps. It does not consistently in battle. I shouldn't need to go into my Task Manager to close out processes it doesn't terminate, but I do. From everything I read these issues with crashing are affecting almost everyone. This is a great game, with fun (horribly slow) gameplay and an amazing story for the campaign, but there is so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to wade through I still can't give it a positive review.

Like The Witcher 2 and Dragon Age had a child with mild asbergers. Not quite as good as those titles, but similar and not that bad.

I ran a few different programs to give me a idea of what settings I could run it at and all of them told me ultra. Started it up and tried running it on ultra; couldn't even break 10FPS. I then worked my way down on settings, all combos and still didn't break 25-30 FPS. Tried looking up performance tweaks and still no improvement. The game itself could be great, but it can't seem to run on some high-end pcs so it was just a clossal waste of $ for me. It seems that 2yrs post-release that Bohemia would have resolved some if not all the performance issues by now....

I just picked this game up and played through Epsilon. (steam didn't log my hrs?) I'd say I was at it for 3hrs+
For people wondering why the playtime for all the users is so short it probably has to do with the fact that only the first group of missions are finished. I loved every second of it and am going to play through again as there are tons of variations to the machines that you can build. Can't wait for more new missions though!

Update! Will this game ever leave early access? No idea. Is it still worth your money for what is there absolutely.
