I spent a couple of hours playing this on a couch with my friend against other people online. That's a pretty cool experience most fighting games do not offer. The characters all seem pretty unique and the art style is really cool. Would recommend based on my experience so far.

Enjoyable challenging combat. The meta-game is satisfying and seemingly fairly deep. Looking forward to added variety and additional balancing.

Yeah.. same as everyone else. I owned this game and they took away the ability to play local multiplayer. Nice.

The game is great. It's easy to pick up but still requires a lot thought and skill to master. The characters are varied and interesting. The design is inoffensive and gets the information you need to play across. It's unfortunate about the free-to-play launch server issues and people down-voting because they can't play with friends. Hopefully they'll be fixed shortly.

BBTag is an accessible fighting game with an interesting variety of characters. The tutorial seems reasonably in-depth and covers a lot of fighting game topics. The challenge mode teaches you more than just auto-combos, which is nice. The netcode is decent. I've had games against people with 1 bar that have been good. I think it depends on the stability of the connection, because sometimes it can get pretty bad seemingly at random.

There were some issues at launch that I mostly resolved. I have an AMD RX 480 and a Ryzen 5 1600. Initially running full screen would crash my GPU driver and game, so now I'm using the improvement mod from the Steam BBTag forums to increase my render resolution and run in borderless windowed mode. It runs well on both my desktop and my crappy laptop. I have read some people have performance issues on certain hardware, though.

If you enjoy this style of fighting game or even if you don't normally play fighting games I'd recommend this one. I think it would be a good introduction to fighting game mechanics. The simple nature of the inputs makes it easy to understand and it should be easy to pick up the rock-paper-scissors nature of things.

The gameplay is super fun. Combos, assists, supers, and special moves are very satisfying to chain together and pull off. The presentation is probably the best I've seen in almost any game. There are some issues with the lobbies at the moment and being disconnected from them. The story mode can be kind of tedious and easy if you're at all accustomed to fighting games. Ultimately, I recommend the game if you're interested in fighting games or Dragon Ball.

I've been following this game for a while on the roguelikes subreddit. I read the developer's blogs and played the early version of the game. Decided to wait for Steam to pick it up. It's really surprisingly impressive to see in action. The images don't do it justice. The variety of items and the complexity of combat make it enjoyable to play. I'm looking forward to playing more.

Tooth and Tail sheds some of the complexity of other RTS games. It gains a quick and straight forward style of gameplay while retaining what makes other strategy games enjoyable. I'd recommend it if you're interested in RTS but are normally put off by the mechanical requirements.

This is a great game. I believe the negatives regarding network issues and netcode are justified, but I haven't experienced too many issues myself. I am in US East.

The fighting is super satisfying with sound design and visual impact of hits standing out. Being able to customize your character's move-set is pretty unique and interesting. Combat feels reasonably balanced at the moment. There seems to be a potential answer to any move an enemy could exploit to defeat you. You just have to learn it first.

The world is much more interesting to explore than I was expecting from watching gameplay. There are interesting spiraling towers and dilapidated cities. It's certainly confusing to navigate, and I've been lost quite a few times. I honestly feel like this is kind of a positive thing though. Not every games need an arrow telling you where to go all the time.

Overall I feel like if you enjoy the competitive aspects of similar melee combat games or fighting games you could get some enjoyment out of this game. It's important to go in expecting to spend some time learning your moves and don't think you're going to win every fight without adjusting.

Edit: So I was wrong about not having experienced any issues. Over the past couple of days I've been unable to connect in the evenings to the servers. So that's unfortunate. I've still gotten a lot of enjoyable time out of the game and hopefully they will resolve these issues soon.

Good skill based arena shooter. Much less forgiving than a game like Overwatch. An individual's performance is significantly more important. I'm bad, but I still appreciate this. The movement options for the various Champions make getting around the map enjoyable. The combat itself is fun and satisfying.

The Steam launch was kind of rough initially. I had trouble getting into games, long queue times, and latency in games. That seems to be better now, though.
