It was one of the early 'artsy' indie games and got by a lot on that. I agree the puzzles didn't tend to be all that interesting or challenging.

One of the main things I like about Limbo is the mystery of the game and the overall atmosphere of the game. The fact that the game's ending was anticlimactic at best also left me feeling a bit unusual. After much thought, I realized that the simplicity and general lacking sense of achievement are almost humbling.
