Sonic Generations Remastered is a great port of a 12 year old sonic game. its what you expect.

Shadow Generations is peak Sonic. The levels are so detailed with loads of routes to take, the gameplay is polished, fast and all the new mechanics are great. You really get the sense of Shadow being this ultimate powerhouse.
The cutscenes and in game moments are just a visual treat as you watch shadow destroy enemies with great animation. I dont know what Sonic Team did but they cooked with this one.

Still is dope

Great DLC, Already got Chef and Defeated the False Son on Monsoon, The new environments are more detailed than before with amazing songs to accompany them.

Seeker feels great to play and her unique ability set is welcome in my eyes, though my one issue ive found with her is that the revival in multiplayer only works like 25% of the time, do understand you have to make it to level 7 tranquillity but often it just does nothing at all. Other than that amazing overall, i really hope there's more DLC's in the future for this game because its been such a joy seeing new life to this game.

Update:
After sinking another 11 hours into this DLC i have a lot more to say regarding this DLC.
The new Survivors are great, Seeker while having a lower damage output (similar to mercenary) but is able to survive almost any encounter through being able to heal on the fly as well as abilities that let you escape from almost every scenario. Her Damage becomes less noticeable when you hit level 7 tranquillity where she almost doubles in DPS.

Chef was one i heard some concerning things about with his cleaver needing to be manually recalled and their being a cool down on his M1, after playing multiple runs as him i believe hes a very solid addition to the game, Being able to manually recall his cleaver has allowed me on many occasions to hit enemies that have been unfortunate enough to come in range of the attack, Glaze is the biggest issues vie had with the character as it is quite hard to aim and can often miss enemies completely despite having a large AOE.

The False Son, by far my favourite, his ability to set of proc chains is actually insane, his attacks combo nicely together and while he lacks in speed he has alot of health to make up for it, creating this powerful yet challenging character. My biggest complaint with him is that sometimes his Special just does not register as doing damage for a few seconds.

The music is amazing as always in this DLC so i don't need to really say much on that front.

The main issues with this DLC comes down to the newly introduced bugs, i personally have not encountered anything game-breaking and still find the game completely playable and enjoyable, though there are a few things that just arise during gameplay that can just pull you out of the game.

I still recommend this DLC highly as its got some amazing content, lets hope that they patch out the issues quickly.

One of the best Rougelites out there, you play the game to listen to the soundtrack, luckily the gameplay is so snappy, responsive and fast that it can carry the game on its own anyway!

Highly reccomend, it is hard at the start but as you pick it up you realise the game wants you to become OP and the enemies seem to be designed in a way that always lets the enemies catch up to you, no matter how powerful you become

fell down a staircase and got mugged by a group of monsters while my friend watched 8/10

Edit:
So i recently played through the single player of the game and without a doubt this game has one of my favourite stories, Simon is a great protagonist, filled with flaws that are slowly revealed to you throughout the duration of the game. The visuals may seem dated at first but i think they help the overall atmosphere of the game.
Stockholm in this isnt presented as a city in ruin and throughout the title there are no signs in the environment of anything being wrong, its almost as if all life just disappeared. This creates a quite tense and uncanny atmosphere throughout the title while letting the moments of calmness/reflection take center stage when they need to.
The gameplay is nothing spectacular but it is enjoyable throughout the experience, with all the classic Survival horror mechanics in, you have limited slots to carry items, these items include your Morphine Syringes, Weapons and Key items to progress, which means you often have to decide what items you need to drop in order to pick up that lovely fuse you need.
I think this benefits the gameplay as when i had to decide between dropping my Gun or my Baton it was essentially like deciding whether i think i can keep the enemies at a distance or not, forcing me out of the comfort that comes with having a fully stocked inventory.
The game also features some amazing ambient music that couples with the game nicely, some tracks make you feel like you are running through the darkest depths of the human psyche while others feel like a lonely walk through city streets.

Overall this game is great and its free so theres no reason not to play it in my eyes.
9/10
