Turned on dynamic resolution (absolutely critical - without it I barely scrape 10-20 FPS) and this runs absolutely fine on my 3-year-old i9/6700XT build. The performance issues are pretty overblown in the other reviews IMO. Don't get me wrong - the performance is bad, and the devs need to put patches out (indeed, I'm sure they will) - however it's nowhere near as bad as the reviews are making out. The people saying they're unable to run this with 3090s either haven't touched the settings or are being extremely hyperbolic.

If you're a fan of CS, this is an undeniable upgrade in most ways, making the base game on par with a kitted out mod build IMO, except of course it all works together much more smoothly because it's built in.

Built-in roundabouts are the biggest UX improvement, followed closely by being able to do pairs of roads, pairs of train tracks being a single tile, building upgrades, improved electric and water dynamics.. Hell, it's great!
