First of all, anyone who wants or is willing to buy this game, please do not do it. You will regret it. The updates released in this game are terrible, the updates are random and irrelevant and changes which are made are unnecessery. Instead of actually updating bugs and correcting issues with the game, the developers concentrate on sounds and crap. But that's about the game itself.

Secondly, the anti cheat on this game sucks. The amount of cheaters in last few months may of doubled or even tripled and the VAC system does not catch them. They introduced PRIME match making which was intended to prevent cheaters from playing. But cheaters have found a way to get into prime and cheat. Let's not talk about non-prime match making. The more I play this game, I encounter more and more cheaters in each match. It goes on from legit hacking, where cheaters are trying to make it seem like they are actually not cheating but they clearly are. And then it goes on from there to spin-botters which are impossible to kill. I realised that the amount of cheaters has increased ever since the operation came out which was intended to make the game fun but it actually made it worse.

Finally, after spending many years playing Counter Strike franchise games, I must say that Global Offensive is one of the worst games from the franchise. I am not saying that other Counter Strike games were perfect, they had flaws but GO must be one of the most flawed games ever. If you want to play competitively, you must either pay for third party services which actually provide a good anti cheat and deal with all the cheaters or you have to look for another game which would actually be worth your money. I used to love this game but now I feel like it is time to quit unless the anti cheat gets improved and the developers will actually start fixing the game instead of making a market from it.
