I was actually having fun with this game until I ran into a game breaking bug that glitches your save files, forcing you to restart. You know this happens as the games terrible checkpoint system forces a hang - you can check in APPDATA Local folders and see the save files are now randomly over 200mb when they should be kb. After that, you can't load them and the playthrough is bugged.

The irony was, the game has mixed reviews for OTHER reasons. I was thinking, hey, they're being pretty unfair and it's a decent game (now the price is a bit lower), but come on, a bug like this when the game has been out for so long? Clearly a broken and inferior product. Apparently I can fix this by starting again, but why tf should I?

Edit : I actually replayed through again - the same glitch happened in the same place. I made manual saves along the way in case it happened again so I could revert, but it corrupted autosaving from those too! Incredibly terrible.
