Unfortunately just a case of not meeting the potential of the game. Long waits in between 30-40 minute content updates over the last couple years has killed the player base. You'll wait a year for content that you'll find in a mobile game basic update, and on top of that it will be incredibly buggy and unrewarding. The leveling process is fun and engaging early on but starts to fizzle out and there really isn't anything that is "end game". If you're super casual I'm sure you can find some fun in the game but it really is sad how poor of a state the game is currently in.
