If anything, Yuan Bo is too good. Campaign mechanics are really good, churns money.

Are there optimization issues? Yeah. Is that stopping me from wearing the skin of my enemies? No.

I'm going to try to get through the campaign and maybe try another class to get my money's worth but so far the game is a huge drag.

The big reason I've held off on playing this for so long is because of monsters level scaling with you but after all the unrelated reworks and it being on sale I gave it a shot anyway.

The level scaling is just as bad, if not worse, than I thought it would be. Killing things never feels great and I feel like I'm being punished by completing side content and leveling up instead of just blitzing the main story quests.

All these reviews about microtransactions are unwarranted. All the items they're selling, including the "premium currency (RC)" are obtainable in game. This is a similar situation with Super Credits in Helldivers and some of you guys are being very undemocratic right now.

Game has performance issues for sure, but it's still crazy fun.

I don't know what I'm doing but I think I'm having fun question mark

Wish I could give a mid review. The passion the devs have for the game is great. It hasn't led to the perfect game but for f2p there is a staggering amount of content.

Most importantly if I had the ability to force a f2p model on all f2p games, it would be the Warframe f2p model. F2p players, through grinding, are able to farm premium currency via trading and earn more platinum (premium currency) than even p2w players could even imagine. And it also doesn't destroy the game's economy. Truly great work there.

That being said, the thing that really tips the scale to the negative side for me is going to be something most people would consider petty: login rewards. There are specific items (in this case, mods) that are locked behind logging in a certain number of overall days. And I'm going to complain about them because I've played on and off since beta, over 1200 hours since this review, and I'm no where close to getting these login rewards just because my style of playing (play a ♥♥♥♥ ton for a few weeks straight then stopping for months) doesn't reward me at all.

Sure, people might say "you don't need those mods you just insta kill everything anyway kekw" but for me it's a tipping point. There's plenty of positives and plenty of negatives, but this one particular issue pushes me to the negative end.

Please Larian I need more.
