I don't know that I've played enough of it to really recommend it. I really, really dug the original Alan Wake. American Nightmare is different. It's more action-driven, and the melodrama skews into a territory that's a little more b-movie. I got a deal on it and don't regret picking it up, but it's not near the top of my list of things I've got to get through.
