I hadn't played the original Worms until this past month and I don't know how I ever missed out on this classic original.

I think the first time I played a game from the Worms' franchise was around 2000 with Worms Armageddon on the Playstation 1. I've played a few of the others since then and I generally enjoy them, but this original - just simple fun. I'd say it is easily my favorite in the series just because of how simple it is. Easy and quick to jump into a game with some AI, play around for about 15 minutes and hop out. It is passive enough that you could sit through a chat with your folks back home and keep playing this like maybe you would a game of Minesweeper or Solitaire. Not...that I know anything about that...first hand.

Super worthwhile for the small purchase price. Just don't set your expectations up for anything with depth.
