I had a lot of fun playing this game!
An incredible amount of Character Customisation and an impressive photo mode offering a lot of freedom.
The PvEvP and PvP modes are also a lot of fun and highly competitive.
Bear in mind this is also my first Mech game I've played, but I had a lot of fun and can definitely see a future for this game. I'm very interested in seeing how this game develops!

Early Access Review
A Short Gameplay Description:

* It's an unexpectedly really fun game to play introducing maze-like dungeons full of monsters and other player teams in a PvEvP styled gameplay - delve, grab loot to upgrade characters and your hideout, and then try to escape without getting killed. Die, and you drop what's in your inventory that's not equipped. Also the map gradually closes like a battle royale too, so that's another thing to consider - you can't stay for too long in the dungeon. That's it! Also flashy abilities & up to 3 players in a party.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

* Combat is a bit slow-paced at first, but you can get gear to speed up attack... like, a lot! There is a "Rune" board where you can specialise and upgrade your character's effectiveness.

* Game has A LOT of jiggle physics with its female characters over the slightest movements to the point it's silly and almost laughable.

* As a F2P game, beware microtransactions and already within the first week there's a $41.00 USD outfit for the main character that when her armor breaks she becomes NSFW content if not for the tiniest bit of clothing left. I'm not even exaggerating. Also you can get the Zero-Two Dance... iykyk.

* Almost forgot to mention but the game has quite a few game breaking bugs on the menu, all you need to do is restart the game. Also have to admit, my RTX 4080 PC crashed on the login screen first time I loaded the game, but so far in three days it's only crashed twice. My biggest complaint is the desynchronisation of party members and being able to get separated from party b/c not everyone sees each other. So, make of that what you make of it.

* Overall, it's an enjoyable game to play with friends, and the game shows some promise, although lots of room for improvement. It's a small game, but I'd say it's definitely worth at least giving it a try!

P.S.: Devs, please add the ability to edit/change our in-game names. [Note to new players: As of time of review, when game prompts you to make account name, it is your in-game name and cannot be changed.]

A very short and sweet story game with pretty visuals. By the end of the story you'll be left thinking, wondering, or even a little emotional. It's also Free to Play & easy achievements for that next game to add to your Perfect Games list!

Gameplay is as though Destiny & Warframe had a baby, and then decided to make all their characters impressively voluptuous or macho. Outfits are 2x or even 3x more expensive than outfits in any other MMO-type game I've played; it is very easy to burn your money if you get distracted by the pretty colors and s*xy outfits. Everything looks great on Ultra Graphics & Ray Tracing. Background music while exploring and fighting is also really good.

Overall Rating: 7/10

"This game is like meeting a beautiful sweetheart with the slow blink and innocent smile that you just wanna spoil, but before you know it your bank account is half a grand (or two) lighter and you only just started dating... never mind that you are also paying for their college tuition now too." ~ Random TFD player somewhere

Edit: Game now has doggos & doggo outfits!

I decided to get this game on sale for $5.00 USD on May 4th. I pre-ordered the Xbox version of this game and had a LOT of fun and unlocked almost everything I could. Since coming to PC I figured I wouldn't mind playing it all again but this time with my PC friends. As expected, this is a really fun game to play still!

But what's the catch? Why did I down vote this game?

I encountered the same issue the Xbox version occasionally had: Upon loading the game you have to spam "Connect to Online" until the game realizes that you are actually online. Okay. Not a total deal-breaker since the issue eventually resolved itself after 2-4 attempts, but here's the real kicker - once I connected I found a myriad of other bugs and deficiencies that were NOT an issue on the Xbox version including but not limited to:

* All progress and unlocks reset and unrecognized.
* Sudden inability to unlock/upgrade abilities/weapons.
* Abilities/weapons unequipped from your loadout.
* All in-game currency either lost or not loaded/recognized.

While I could still just load a match and play, it defeats the purpose of trying to unlock anything or progress any class or character. You'll be stuck playing the game like a Level 1 with no abilities and default starting weapons. The only fix I found is to reload the game over and over until it finally registers your progress. When I just wanna relax and blast baddies in Star Wars to the sound of pew-pew-pew, I don't really wanna argue with an inconsistent game about whether or not I unlocked something or not.

This game is great and would be 5/5 Stars for me if not for the inconsistent stability of the game and random crashing. Every time you crash or disconnect due to reasons beyond your control it counts as a Mission Loss on Career Stats, not to mention missions last anywhere between 15-40 minutes tops and if you d/c you gain zero EXP in addition to the loss. Other than that, it's a great game and lots of fun!

4/5 Stars, but still recommend.

Edit: After 293 hours invested, the game is still a lot of fun! The devs have listened to the community and have addressed & fixed a lot of complaints, but unfortunately the crashing is still a problem a lot of people have to deal with. Thankfully, I don't crash as much as I used to anymore, but I still have friends that get dropped from the game so much that it becomes frustrating for them.

This game is honestly very clunky and doesn't feel optimised for PC. Tried to use M&K and even switched to Controller. Played both BF1 & BF2 and immediately understood that this was DEFINITELY not a remaster. Game also did not offer a way to invert controls. There's also an auto-aim feature and it's either way too good or completely messes with ability to aim at all. There are a lot of things wrong with this game. I was excited but sadly I cannot honestly say I would recommend this game to my friends. Overall, this game does NOT do my memory of the originals justice... but it was cool to see the old character models & map layouts.

As someone who is new to the Baldur's Gate series and has little to no experience with D&D-based games (pen & paper or otherwise), I found myself playing Baldur's Gate 3, and now, 18 hours into the game, I am compelled to write this review detailing my first impression of the game and my experience so far:

I decided not to look at the hype or pay much attention to IGN's rating of the game beyond noticing that the overall consensus was that the game was a masterpiece. This was enough to eventually peak my interest and I told several friends I just got a new PC and was interested in playing the game with them. One of them gifted me the game even though I didn't ask them to.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptic of Baldur's Gate. I tried to play another game that had D&D aspects and I got lost, confused, and eventually lost interest in the game. I even began to feel bad that a friend went through the trouble of buying me the game and I wasn't sure if I'd like it because I haven't even seen anything on the game except the trailers and a couple dev diaries. I tried to hype myself up with listening to the Official Soundtrack; I was being careful not to spoil anything about the game.

I will say however that once I loaded the game and got to the menu I was immediately excited by the familiar music and started browsing the game's settings and controls to get a better understanding and glimpse at the game. I found various settings that led me to having more questions and intrigue than actual answers. I told my BFF that just downloaded the game that I was starting BG3, and I pressed New Game. I immediately was impressed by the difficulty options available to me and that there was a custom setting. I will say I am a bit squeamish, so the opening cut-scene had me screaming in horror and aghast with incredulity, and my BFF was wondering what happened and if I was okay. He was able to join me seamlessly and witness what I had just seen (and I'm pretty sure I was more disgusted than him, but it was a shocker to us both).

Next was the character customisation, and my BFF knows I take forever with customising so as soon as he finished making his character he ordered food expecting it to arrive and him finish eating it before I would finalise my character (and I did not disappoint his expectation of me to take literally almost forever - he was able to do just that and had downtime). Little did I know I had ANOTHER character to customise, and I promised him I would keep the customisation minimal this time and thankfully I found a really nice preset option.

Amazing cut-scene quality aside and fantastic gameplay on just 60 fps (could go higher but my old monitor capped at 60) and ultra settings, I was increasingly intrigued (and disturbed) by the game's story. So much so that as a newcomer to the Baldur's Gate series, and relatively inexperienced with D&D as a whole, that I was immediately immersed in the game and ended up spending the next 18+ hours straight on the game with my BFF. I was impressed by the number of references and vibes I got from other games I was a fan of, and I also liked the amount of freedom BG3 offered me to choose whatever I wanted to do. If I wanted to pick up my BFF's character and throw him, I could do that! He even picked up a chest and turned out it was enchanted and he blew himself up throwing it!

I could continue to regale you with my experience regarding Baldur's Gate 3, but we would be here reading this long review even longer than needed. If there's anything I want to say to summarise this game it is that I was very impressed and my earlier worries about the game were proven to be wrong. I was also pleasantly surprised to find several cool and unique companions that I didn't feel that I was supposed to immediately like or get along with, as well as a very detailed but not overwhelming user-interface, as well as so many more things to list off that I recommend experiencing first-hand.

I very much enjoyed playing BG3 and I am still very excited to continue my adventure that I'm sure I have only just barely scratched the surface on. I do recommend this game and at the very least it is worth looking into. I am definitely a new fan of the game, and I hope this at least sheds a little bit of light on why so many others (now including myself) enjoy this game.
