A fun, "shorter" experience. A new twist on old stories.
The art style was great, and the mechanics were fun.
It felt a little repetitive at the end of part 2 and into part 3, but the story kept things fresh.
I would recommend giving it a play through.

Does a great job weaving stories around death and moving on. A enjoyable melancholic experience.

Gameplay-wise, the mini-games were unique. I appreciate that they felt like extensions of the tasks: well designed.
Also, I appreciated the use of pauses and cool downs as mistake punishments instead of "game over" or damage like other games have.

A precise platformer in a medieval fantasy setting.
I enjoyed it a lot. :)

Really cool concept, terrible game play.
All three times I've tried to play this game have been a clunky mess with (KMB) unintuitive controls, dropped frame rates around fires and smoke. The world resetting HP of mobs when I turn the camera (click and hold middle-mouse button)... Not to mention getting spawn camped by boss-level creatures in the second area.

I feel constantly underpowered without a way to get stronger since the mobs also scale up with my level...

Save your money.

I tried to get a refund years ago and they told me no.

Pretty fun set up.
It reminds me of the aesthetic of Transistor mixed with some world of Overwatch.
Currently the prologue runs a little jittery for me, but the overall game play is pretty nice.
Game play seems similar to Hades with Hunger Games sponsor mechanics.

Definitely keeping an eye on this one.

The story was cute, the puzzles were fun, and I enjoyed the color mechanics! I never felt like anything was unfair, and things were challenging in a nice way. I think there was only a couple puzzles at the end I had to step away and take a moment before coming back and completing them. Definitely worth giving a shot if you're in the mood for a chill, shorter game.

A good variation of Pokemon-esque game, plus metroidvania. It was fun trying to figure out good combinations of monsters while enjoying a pleasant story.
I really liked how they dealt with experience share, and post max levels

Reminds me of Risk of Rain meeting an Souls type game. It has really nice flow, fun environment and characters, and a enjoyable story

Super Giant's storytelling and narratives are always great. The game play is fun, and builds gradually, making each run feel worth going again. Overall it was compelling enough to be my addiction for a few weeks at least.

It's a nice change to be in the place of being an item merchant in an RPG instead of solely an adventurer. It reminds me of a more refined version of "Recettear" but definitely with their own spin on it.
The game play uses random dungeon designs for spelunking, and when you get back from the dungeons you can sell the items you found if you make it back alright.
On the merchant side of things, I found it fun to try to figure out the sweet spot on the prices for each item through trial and error, and taking my best guess based on the other items in the game.

I'm not completely sure how I feel about the ending of the game. It was fun, but it felt like a weird turn for some reason.

I think my favorite part about the game are the little animations and characters in the game. The green slime-like bounciness used throughout the game was satisfying to watch when it was used for the portal-doors, a means to return home, and even the loading screen animation.

Thanks for reading.
