Doom Eternal is like a roller coaster that never slows down. From the moment you step into the shoes of the Doom Slayer, you're thrust into a world of chaos, battling the demonic forces of Hell. The adrenaline rush is real, and it's amplified by the game's "push-forward" combat system. This isn't a game where you hide and take cover; it's a game where you charge headfirst into the fray, chainsaw roaring and shotgun blazing.

The game's arsenal is a dream for any FPS enthusiast. From the iconic Super Shotgun to the new "Meat Hook" attachment, every weapon feels powerful and satisfying to use. The "Doomblade" and "Crucible Blade" add a visceral touch to close-quarters combat, making every "glory kill" feel like a triumphant victory. The addition of movement mechanics, like wall-climbing and dashing, adds a layer of dynamism to the gameplay, ensuring that battles never feel stale.

The game's environments are a visual treat, with each level meticulously designed to challenge the player. The "Destructible Demons" system is a brilliant touch, allowing players to strategically target enemy weak points. It's immensely satisfying to see a demon crumble piece by piece as you unleash your fury.

However, not everything is perfect in Hell. The game's platforming sections can sometimes feel out of place, breaking the flow of the intense combat. Additionally, the story, while intriguing, can get convoluted at times.

But, at its core, Doom Eternal is about the raw, unadulterated joy of demon-slaying. It's about the pulse-pounding soundtrack that drives you forward, the thrill of the hunt, and the satisfaction of standing victorious amidst a sea of defeated foes. It's a testament to id Software's prowess in crafting a shooter that feels both nostalgic and innovative. In the end, Doom Eternal is more than just a game; it's an experience, and one that will leave you craving for more.

Diving into the Halo universe with "The Master Chief Collection" feels like revisiting an old friend, but with a fresh coat of paint. This compilation is a nostalgic trip down memory lane, offering not just one, but multiple Halo titles, all under one roof. The graphical upgrades are immediately noticeable, especially in the Halo 2 Anniversary edition. Those cinematics? Absolutely breathtaking. It's a testament to how a decade-old game can feel brand new with the right touch-ups.

Playing through the campaigns, the familiar rush of adrenaline returns. Whether you're battling the Covenant, driving Warthogs, or simply enjoying the narrative, the experience is as immersive as ever. The ability to switch between original and enhanced graphics in Halo 2 is a delightful touch, allowing players to appreciate how far gaming graphics have come. The added "Terminals" and the prologue and epilogue scenes are like cherries on top, seamlessly bridging the story to Halo 5.

In conclusion, "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" is a love letter to fans. It's a journey through time, a celebration of a legendary series. While it has its hiccups, the overall experience is undeniably Halo at its best. If you've ever felt the thrill of a plasma grenade stick or the satisfaction of a perfect headshot, this collection is a must-have.

It's Halo. Worth it at full price. A steal during sales.

Not as good as Dirt 3 but still good enough that you must get this on sale if you have liked any previous entry in the Dirt series. Get this over Dirt 5. Sure, the graphics are worse, but the gameplay is miles better.

Played this on Gamepass and liked it so I decided to buy it on steam. (Didn't keep Gamepass since I mostly play CSGO) Then I find out that the impulse triggers don't work and apparently that's by design and Microsoft will not be fixing it. So Gamepass is the only platform that this game is worth playing on.

You know, there's a bit of guilt whenever I think about how I first dove into "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." I pirated it a couple of years back, just to see if the buzz was legit. Spoiler: it was. After getting hooked, I retraced my steps, played through Witcher 1 and 2, and then — for good karma — bought the GOTY Edition of Witcher 3 to relive the magic.

This might sound lofty, but only a few games have ever struck me as defining their respective genres like "Halo" did. Witcher games? They're up there. Now, I'm not gonna pretend the first two titles were flawless in gameplay — they weren’t. The mechanics were a tad on the clunky side, especially compared to newer titles. But the narrative, the lore? Top-notch. It's an immersive world where your choices matter and ripple through the series. So, if you're considering Witcher 3, do yourself a favor: start with the first two. Trust me, the context amplifies the experience.

And about those DLCs for Witcher 3? Essential. It’s like having a meal and then realizing there’s dessert. Both "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" are masterclasses in how to expand a game world. Not just additional hours, but quality content that feels meaningful, making the tale truly whole.

If I had to nitpick — and I mean really search for something — the combat in Witcher 3 could get a bit grindy. Sometimes it felt more like a chore than a challenge. But honestly, that's a tiny smudge on an otherwise impeccable canvas.

Final verdict? 10/10. An adventure that deserves all its accolades and then some. Would I play it all over again? In a heartbeat.

Stepping into the world of Aimlabs feels like entering a gym, but for gamers. It's not your typical FPS game; it's a training ground. And just like any training, the results are directly proportional to the effort you put in.

The platform is a smorgasbord of tools and scenarios designed to chisel away at your aiming imperfections. Whether you're a newbie struggling to land those headshots or a seasoned player looking to fine-tune your reflexes, Aimlabs seems to have something in store for everyone. The curated training scenarios are its crown jewels, each meticulously crafted to challenge and improve different facets of your aiming prowess.

But here's the catch: it's not a one-size-fits-all solution. While Aim Lab is a fantastic tool for general FPS training, if you're specifically looking to up your CSGO game, there are workshop maps out there that might cater more to your needs. It's like comparing a general gym to a specialized training center. Both have their merits.

The best part? It's free. There's no harm in giving it a whirl. Dive in, test the waters, and see if it aligns with your training goals. If it does, great! If not, you've lost nothing.

So good (and addictive) that I haven't played CSGO in days. Totally worth the hype and the $6 I spent on it.
You will die over and over again and you will love it.

One game to lead them all, One game to guide them,
One game to gather all and in the servers bind them.
In the realm of Counter-Strike, where shots and tactics blend,
One game to reign supreme, until the very end.

Brütal Legend is a game that's not for everyone, but for those who resonate with its heavy metal vibes, it's a wild ride worth taking. Imagine being Eddie Riggs, a roadie who's suddenly thrust into a world where heavy metal isn't just music—it's life. The game's open world, spanning a whopping 40 square miles, is a testament to the grandeur of metal culture.

The graphics might not be the latest and greatest, and the gameplay mechanics might feel a tad dated, but there's a charm to Brütal Legend that's hard to deny. Eddie's tools of the trade, from his axe "The Separator" to his guitar "Clementine," are more than just instruments—they're weapons. And not to forget "The Deuce," a hot rod that's as much a character in the game as any other. The way these tools are integrated into combat and exploration is both innovative and entertaining. Casting spells with a guitar riff? Brilliant!

The open-world exploration is punctuated with side missions that are as varied as they are fun. Whether you're racing a demon in your hot rod or helping a cannon operator, there's always something to do. And for those who love a good backstory, the chained statues scattered around the world offer a deeper dive into the lore of this metal universe.

But where Brütal Legend truly shines is in its Stage Battles. These real-time strategy elements blend seamlessly with the action-adventure gameplay, creating a unique experience. Defending your concert stage while building an army with merchandise booths is as metal as it gets. And when Eddie transforms into a winged demon, the game takes on an epic scale that few others can match.

However, a word of caution: before diving in, it might be a good idea to watch some gameplay videos. This will give you a taste of what's in store. And if it strikes a chord, wait for a sale and grab it. It's a game that deserves a spot in any metalhead's collection.
