if you're craving luxor for some reason or another, get this one

playing this back to back after FFIII is total whiplash. the first FF game with an actual story and character beats & growth. truly worth playing, comes with all the pixel remaster extra features, though at the cost of additions present in later versions and iterations of the game, as this is based on the SNES version.

would still argue that it's the best version, to this day. definitely worth playing

i do not care much for city builders, but this is good. a pleasant soundtrack, immaculate vibes, and the one thing you get to move is your city instead of units.

and the answer is it's really good. if you like platforming games you should play kitsune tails. it's cute, got a good ost, has some interesting power ups, and some fun levels & world themeing. play it. play it. play the video game

a wonderful character-focused adventure. if you like RPGs, you owe it to yourself to play this game. a solid adventure, and even if i never played the original, I can tell a lot of love went into this one.

it's one of the most beloved entries in the series (if not THE most beloved), and despite being a sequel of sort, you can still play it without any issues. strong recommend.

ah, FFIII. no, not that FFIII. yes, that FFIII.

kind of the first final fantasy to be like... an actual game. FF1 is very barebones (understandably so) and FF2 is a game for maniacs. but 3? first iteration of the job system, some interesting mechanics, ACTUAL dungeon design that isnt mirrored rooms or just 10 doors with empty square rooms behind them.

overall? a much better time than the previous 2 entries. the entire OST rules. the jobs are great. I want to marry the frog sprite and I wish to do nothing more but dunk Amon's skully head in the toilet.

this is a good game, but the fun combat system and story are often overshadowed by the overly long puzzle dungeons, and those are not particularly exciting and bog down the game massively.

your mileage may vary but i personally could not stomach the amount of puzzles that were thrown my way, especially since it does a lot of other things very well.

the base game of hat in time was pretty fun overall. some flaws here and there, not always the best level design, but overall, still a solid 3d platformer.

but nyakuza metro? man. this is the good stuff. the atmosphere is top notch. the metro is expansive and fun to explore. brand new sets of dyes and clothes to purchase. the music is SOOO good.

if you play hat in time, you owe it to yourself to at least get to this DLC and play it. it is really good.
