Over a year into early access for a sequel game and subnautica:BZ trashes the script to make an entirely new one, without changing any gameplay, objectives are still the same, the story still stops abruptly because nothing has been worked on; simply re-written. This game is so far from finished and the recent update makes no progress towards that. If anything the new story has less substance. So many things have been changed for no immediately obvious reason and overall many players including myself think the changes are worse than the previous update. Wait for full release before picking up this game, whenever that is.
