"Grief is the culmination of love; to love fully, you have to grieve deeply."

This quote pierced my soul as I heard it spoken to Kratos. The relationship between the characters, the way they perceive every encounter, the storytelling... the constant pressure of prophecy throughout the game, the level design, the attention to detail, the graphical fidelity — and the way this story made me reflect on everything: life, death, and our purpose. And let’s not forget its brutality. This game may not be a masterpiece, but it's good enough that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends.

That said, the combat was a bit too much for me. It felt like every second line of dialogue led to a random fight, every second level was a tunnel, and every two corners was another arena. My jaw practically dropped from boredom. Eventually, I got so tired of the combat that I set the difficulty to "Story" just to get through the enemies faster, and it was still too much clicking, to be honest. In a way, one could say the game becomes boring. But it's still worth it for the story and the characters.

Thor, in particular, was an amazing character. I loved his charisma, his voice, and his appearance. What a shame that(spoiler) he got killed so easily, like he was nothing. Sad, sad, sad...

Overall: 7/10

Baldur's Gate 3: Unleashing Chaos in Every Choice

Yo, let me tell you about Baldur's Gate 3. This game, man, it's like nothing I've ever played before. Imagine chess, right? Now crank that up to quantum 5D levels where every move spirals into a universe of outcomes. It’s not just a game; it’s a brain-bending journey that had me glued to my seat, eyes wide, jaw on the floor.

Before this, my game menu was as predictable as morning traffic. Then Baldur's Gate 3 comes along, flipping the script entirely. The battles? A masterclass in strategy, like playing chess with the gods. Every skirmish is a high-stakes dance where one wrong step doesn’t just cost you a piece; it costs you the game. And the detail, man, the detail in this game is insane. It's like they thought of everything. You think you've seen it all, then bam, you're a wheel of cheese because you sassed a Genie.

Speaking of, let’s talk about that Genie moment. First playthrough, I’m all accusing him of scamming me, and next thing I know, I’m an actual wheel of cheese. I mean, come on, who thinks of that? But here's where it gets wild: go back, play it smart, snag his magic ring, and suddenly, I'm in Narnia fetching a weapon that's straight-up legendary. The possibilities are endless, like playing Detroit: Become Human with the reins fully in your hands. Every choice, every action, it's all on you. Fortune maker? More like universe creator.

Baldur's Gate 3 sets the bar sky-high for game interactivity and storytelling. The sheer volume of paths and outcomes makes every playthrough a unique beast. It's like they threw the game design book into a black hole and wrote a new one in a parallel universe.

For real, if you haven’t dived into this gem, you’re missing out on one of the freshest, most mind-blowing experiences in gaming. And hey, if you want a taste of the madness, the triumphs, and the straight-up weirdness, check out my YouTube. I’ve got a vid that captures some of the golden moments that had me both laughing and strategizing like a mad genius.

Baldur's Gate 3 isn’t just a game; it’s a revelation. Strap in, because this is one quantum leap for RPGs, and a giant leap for gamer kind.

10 wheel-of-cheeses out of 10 scamming genies
