After using this software over 1000 hours, I can safely and without lying even a bit, to give it thumps up review!

Why?

Aseprites price/actual value and usefulness and joy and all ratio is one of or even the best ever in steam ever of all ever of sold programs there. Yes! I mean it is only 16.79€ when it's full priced, and you can get it for like 10€ in sales.

At this point i need to say that I'm total noob and not talented at all what it comes to pixel graphics, also badly color blind.
But even with these flaws, I can do decent pixel thingies with this program. I have made hundreds of land tiles for my game.
Tiles making and matching them together is super easy due to Aseprites Tiled Mode and Symmetry options.
It includes professional level features and tools for pixel drawing and animations.
It is made only for pixel graphics, but it doesn't claim anything else either.

Also it has very user-friendly interface (you can also download more themes these days from github: https://github.com/aseprite/themes
I personally use HD theme to fit more stuff on the screen.

Aseprite also support custom extensions and scripts. Also downloadable freely on their website.

When you want to start doing pixel art, there is ofc many free open source options available, but if you don't want to go through all of those and your budget have extra 16.79€ (19.99$) buy this program, it is all you need for it. You won't regret that!

It is still developed actively and receiving major updates 1 or 2 times a year.
