Set to be a cult classic of the future if EA doesn't kill all support for it. Endearing story, fun world, interesting combat (although it needs abused), funny dialogue. Overall very good time.

Take everything good about Xcom as a series.
Now remove the base building and replace it with glossy minimalistic menus.
Replace the dark dialogue about saving mankind with sassy yas queen slay retorts.
The combat is still ok but I 100% would be one of the terrorists in this game and its really uncomfortable to play a game that should be about the struggles of mankind to deal with left over alien mind slaves... and instead is about saving the day in a retrowave NYC with a 90s buddy cop atmosphere.
Cringe.

This game can be played in 2 ways. Casually beating the first few ascensions and trying out some game modes. Oh what a fun time.
Or, you try to beat the hardest difficulties, and spend a lot of time figuring out stats, watching youtube videos and grinding against the wall to finally beat A20... on one class.
10/10 good game but damn its got RNG so that might turn you away.

I'm glad to see a Mech game. Giant robots, count me in.
But the point of giant mechs is that they either look cool, have deep strategy or lots of interesting weaponry.
This game has none of the above.
It looks dated already, like its a 2015 game. Wouldn't be an issue except the AI in the game isn't very clever. Well ok that could be forgiven if there was a lot of variety to the gameplay, except there isn't, you're usually just picking off the AI with strong mechs and heavy weapons cause anything that isn't a Heavy mech, sucks. Well why do lighter mechs suck? Cause RNG means you can insta-kill or be insta-kill by large weaponry so you need lots of armor to prevent that happening.
In the end ALL of this could be forgiven if the game had lots of customisation and weapon variation but for some reason we have a handful of machine guns, lasers, rockets and flamethrowers and thats it. No shields, shield disruptors, attack drones, burrowing missiles, mines, cluster grenades, orbital strikes, nothing like that.

Its not that the game itself is bad. Its just not exciting after a while. My bad-running-animation mechs aren't cool enough to make up for it.

What was once a silly Miniclip puzzle game has now spiraled into an insanely deep, yet charming and fun Tower Defense game.
Who knows how we got here and who cares, this is one of the best Tower Defense games ever made. Period.
Incredible variety in enemies and towers, excellent map designs, difficulty modes created to welcome in new players while allowing for endless play at any time to let you see how many waves you can really fight off ON TOP of incredibly hard Maps and late game difficulty modes AS WELL as co-op and online events.
If you know a better Tower Defense game let me know because you've probably just not played Bloons TD 6 yet. And thats a mistake. Go buy this glorious popping game.

What Uncharted 3 should have been and totally failed to be.
Best Lara Croft game for years... until the sequel

This game wil make you hate percentages.
It'll also make you lose track of time.
It's great.

Imagine if you were able to play as the main character of an anime.
That anime you are Samurai Superman and you punch Mechs in the face.
Don't imagine.
Play this game and BE Samurai Superman.

If you need to ask me for a reason as to why I'm recomending FFX then you might as well remove me off your friends list, you don't know me well enough.
There is also another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game attached to this that should have every cutscene skipped to make it enjoyable.
FFX though, if girls were a game man I swear...

Does it have similar combat to Bayonetta?
No.
Is it bad a game because of that?
Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ not.
Most criminially under-rated game I've ever played.
One of my personal favourites. Fantastic feel to it.
