Warframe, ah Warframe.. to some this game up in a few elongated words..

(The Story)

Warframe is a game about a machine-like character known as thee "Warframe" who had woke up from cryo-stasis after a broken old man with no legacy decided that it is time to awaken you from your cryo-slumber before you ironically cut him in half in the future segments of the game. *Whoops spoilers..*

After you have then awakened from cryostasis and are in your orbiter, you are then tasked with killing three tribes of alien/robotic species in order to restore peace and balance towards the universe as a whole. the faction of which you reside in are called the "Tenno" or in this case, the "Tennonaki" which dates back to ancient times before the creation of the Earth itself, but ANYways.. I'm going off topic.

(The Lore)

The Tenno work under the organization of the Lotus, the group leader of the Lotus goes under the name of Natah and serves as a mother figure to the Tenno race. and furthermore, she gives you varied commands during certain missions to ensure the Tenno succeeds over whatever race you are currently fighting against. whether it be the communist terra-clemming alien Grineer tribe, the robotically enhanced greed-induced corpus cult, or the manifestation of death and pestilence itself, known as the infestation.

Other than the Lotus, you are served by a friendly robotic entity installed onto your ship that goes by the name of "Cephalon Ordis" and he acts as your guide to the entire Milky Way. (which is where the story takes place in)

(The Purpose)

The overall objective of the game is to traverse through different sectors of each planet until the next planet has been unlocked for Solar Rail traveling. so that you can progress further into the game and unlock many items, junctions, and a sense of progressive accomplishment as you ravage the three main factions of the game.

(The Features)

The game also features many, MANY different weapons, Warframes, unlockables, and even things you can get later on in-game that are called "Primes" which are basically just the upgraded & goldified version of whatever item, weapon, or Warframe you may be using at the time being. they also feature polarity boosts, stat boosts, and overall far-better subjectable looks than it's previous varients.

There are so many other things to do in Warframe at the current moment.. There are syndicates you can join, K-Drives you can grind on, deployable archwings for space and/or Freeroam missions, slicing people to bits (obviously) PvP elements, *Although not needed* Eidolon Hunting, Fishing, Fashion-Frame, ship-decorations, and so much more things can be done in this sprawling beauty of an abstract sci-fi game done completely right. and the best part of it all..? most of the things in-game (excluding exclusive skins and things bought outside of the game) are absolutely free of charge. :)

And no, you don't need your mother's credit card info..

(The Final Verdict)

TL;DR, I would definitely recommend giving this sprawling open-world fun with friends and absolutely Free-to-Play game a try.. it is honestly worth WAAY more than it is advertised for, and the devs still keep putting all their heart and soul into this grindy-masterpiece of a game that stays true to what it's customers want; unlike a lot of other games under the same category these days. give it a shot, especially if you like doing robotic cosplaying too, that's my favorite thing to do other than counting stars, Operator.

(P.S.: You have broken their legs, and they are on the run.) ;)

(P.P.S.: Sorry for the elongated review, boss.. I'll try and fix it in the newest update.)
