Even if the game is no longer gonna receive support after a few months, I would still highly recommend Omega Strikers as it's the main game that captivated me throughout the year.
Really great especially if you have a squad. Otherwise, be prepared to grind against some dedicated players in both Quick Play and Competitive. (Beware the demon hours....)

It's a good beginner's fighting game since at a casual level, you can have fun by just playing with fundamentals (Combos are nice, but not a requirement for fun).

I LOVED everything about this game. The story, the soundtrack, the overall art style and last but not least the gameplay. Pankapu offers several challenging levels each with their own special solutions which make use of a unique skill switching system ( I was especially surprised when I came back to play episode 2). Throughout my first playthrough, I found myself enjoying every little thing about this beautifully crafted gem of a game.

However even with all the fun puzzles and level designs, I did find that the bosses were quite tricky at first. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I felt frustrated whenever I died because of a miscalculated jump (DISCLAIMER : I am not an excellent player. I make a lot of mistakes). But with enough time, I soon learned the boss' movement patterns which made beating them all the more satisfying ( I did have a bit of trouble with episode 1's final boss).

I've heard that some people complained about the collectibles and bosses of the game (like the afformentioned final boss of episode 1) but in my honest opinion that's what made the game fun for me as I sat down, relaxed and played the game to relax (or when the wifi's down XD).

Tl;dr
The game is reasonably challenging and I would recommend it to players of all skill level in platformers. There is a significant difficulty curve but with enough time, anyone can adjust to it. All I feel is excitement as I look forward to future games made by the wonderful people at Too Nice Studios (maybe even a sequel?? o(≧∇≦o) )
