Possibly the best sandbox game? The developers have proven to be among the few not driven by greed, despite claiming they were done with "final updates" three times. The movement is excellent, though the early game feels slow until wings are unlocked. Combat is fantastic, offering an insane variety of weapons. With multiple classes and paths to choose from, the gameplay is highly customizable. Building is also solid—while it may not be the best among sandbox games, it's arguably the top platformer sandbox builder (aside from maybe Starbound).

A massive open world Dark Souls 3, but better in many ways. The exploration leaves more to the player, which can be challenging. Combat is the best of the Souls games (though Bloodborne and Sekiro edge it out). The world is huge, and even after 1,000 hours, you're likely to find new things. Early game might feel overwhelming, but following the path of grace helps. When you're ready, you can always explore at your own pace.

FromSoftware's best. The combat is perfect, and the movement allows for a lot of climbing, although it's not often used in fights. The parry/deflect system is nearly flawless, and perilous attacks keep combat varied. Highly recommend the LMTSR mod it's incredibly hard, but unique. The map is great, and even though you retrace steps, the world constantly changes with the story’s progression. The visuals are fantastic, with places like Fountainhead Palace looking especially stunning. The soundtrack is excellent (especially Divine Dragon & Corrupted Monk), and while the story isn’t the deepest, it's more developed compared to other FromSoft games.

With 1,000 hours logged, Warframe is the perfect on and off game. You can pick it up at any point, and the grind is enjoyable rather than tedious. It’s even better with friends, and while you don't need to spend any money, the game’s progression keeps you engaged. It's easy to get into, and the experience remains enjoyable over time.

Best underwater game in my opinion, with a lot to do and a good story. Going deep into the lost river is a unique feeling only this game offers. Exploration feels unmatched, and there are a few moments that will truly surprise you. While its sequel is a downgrade, Subnautica is still highly recommended.

Both are some of the best shooters, offering an incredible mix of fun and difficulty. However, they suffer from a lack of replayability. For a first playthrough, they're absolutely fantastic and unique in their genre.

An excellent shooter game, Rust stands out compared to other survival games like Ark. The community is wild, but playing with friends is where the game shines. The survival aspect may not be the most indepth, but the basebuilding is complex and rewarding. Definitely worth trying with a group.

Would be higher if not for nightmare queueing and poor matchmaking. Fun with friends, but ultimately a looping simulator dependent on the killer's playstyle. As a killer main (even at high ranks), the game is too easy. Still, the killer/survivor collaborations are cool.

The peak of Zombid Survival, from the customizable combat to the constant surprises that can destroy your entire run. It’s the most realistic zombie apocalypse game out there, with deep mechanics for everything you do. Just make sure to outrun the zombies.

This one really depends on the server. If you're stuck on a heavily modded server, it can be a nightmare, but find a good one, and it's a blast. The gunplay, SCPs, and overall experience are fun—just give it a chance across different servers.
