I haven't finished this yet, but apart from the beginning which was a bit rough, I really enjoy the environment and the atmosphere.
Whoever complains about combat is just ignorant. It is not difficult if you follow those instructions in the tutorial quests, and of course anyone could beat you to death regardless of what gear you have. Welcome to the middle ages :)

Otherwise, as a huge Skyrim enjoyer, starting to play KCD1 really gives me huge excitement for when I'll get my hands on its sequel (probably when on a proper sale)
