Games great, gets in the way of itself alot though


I have finished all of the end game content, am a long time monster hunter fan (since the psp games) so heres the well informed pros and cons


Pros -

  • Hunting monsters (Always good)

  • High rank gear collecting is great (Being able to save and share high reward quests 10/10)

  • Customisation is massively improved from World

  • Environments feel actually alive and interesting in comparison to world

  • Games settings features many adjustments so you can really get in there and change what you want


    Cons -

  • Performance, as everyone has stated is very rough.

  • Main story features so many walk and yap openings to quests you're spending alot of time doing nothing really

  • High Rank feels really incomplete, side quests are finished quick and overall you can get the current late game builds very easily.

  • UI systems need so much work its just very overwhelming how much they over complicate things like multiplayer / general options.

  • Can we just queue up a multiplayer mission and not have to all find the cutscene and then quit and join again, seriously.
    Its abit easy,


    The tl;dr, I wouldn't want this to be someones first monster hunter, it runs like garbage and doesn't feel like a finished game in content or performance. But gameplay and systems are 10/10, if not just abit too easy as new (and fun) changes to the combat don't leave alot for experienced hunters to actually struggle at any point,
