I played Borderlands, and something felt off.
This game feels right in more ways than I can describe.
There are few polished co-op shooters out there, and even fewer are as interesting as this game. This main characters you play as have beautiful, eye-catching designs, each has a very varied powerset, and each one can progress in different ways. It doesn't feel like the characters have designed playstyles, but they have optional progression paths that let you shape your own playstyle as your progress.
This game does almost everything it attempts correctly. It's a joy to play with friends. It's a joy to play alone. It looks great. it feels great.
