I sought my own desolation
Through trials and tribulations
Speak to me now, O'Muse, tell me wherefore this gallery has perused.
Tell me how the child baked in the night woke.
Tell me how the endless void hath revoked.
Birthright of isolation as he once spoke.

We turn to the void
For the void entices.
And yet nothing is gained.
Through the darkest night
Through the brightest day
Though my mind falters
It stays awake.
Do not fear
Do not fight

Chase the light

I spoke to those who I believed wanted me to fall
Yet to realize it was nothing at all.
I sought demise at every turn
I sought to take the weight of the world
Yet could not hold my own
I sought to speak to god
Yet never to the throne

I've lied a thousand lies
And now seek truth.
I am who I am.
And this is who I am.
To move past
To question
To strengthen
To rebel
To awaken
I am me.

And so I say, Chase the light.
When the sunless skies awaken
When the ethereal void threatens
When despair speaks
When the ground quakes
When your body shakes with fervent intensity.
When the event horizon takes you
And the well of despair draws near

Chase. The. Light.

I speak to you as a friend and friendless I thought.
For in the night there was nothing sought.
No idea.
No sight.
Nothing but the constant blight.
And yet I wondered,
Questioned to know

Was this who I am?
Was this to be my only flow?
I knew not what was in store or out of sight
Perhaps there had always been light?
Maybe,
Possibly
And yet
The fear has left.
Through the darkest hour
Through the fright
I stand with you my friend, I ask you, implore you.
Chase the light

Though the road may seem long
The goal is never truly there.
We are us together
And now you are here.
So reject the false illusions of which you have presupposed.
In your darkest hour smile in resistance
Rebel.
Fight the oncoming blight
Stand together, chase the light.

We could die a billion times
But if the phoenix rises once
The cycle of death is broken
Reality - awakened.

Words of desolation sought to break
Rage innate.
I seek now only the peace of silence
The light before me quickens
And so does my step.
Iterate and evolve.
For we are in flux.
And so
I chase the light.
