Before Your Eyes imparts a profound lesson on the significance of moments, urging us to value each one. Regardless of our plans for the future, we can never foresee when we will last share time with a loved one or engage in something we cherish. It is essential to recognize that both good and bad times are integral to life, contributing to our growth. More importantly, we must appreciate every experience simply for the privilege of living it. I must confess that I struggled to keep up with this game due to being overwhelmed with emotion. This was the most narratively and emotionally impactful game I have ever played. My heart has never been so deeply touched by a game before. Thank you, developer. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

What captivates the most attention in the game is the innovative mechanic of utilizing the eyes as part of the gameplay. Firstly, this is impactful because it may evoke regrets about moments in one's own life that have passed and should have been cherished more. Secondly, it engenders a genuine sense of immersion in the story, making one feel as though the main character and his family could have experienced a completely different life with many mistakes corrected. However, similar to the character, we often overlook the passage of time and occasionally utter words that could alter another person's life.

Most of the time, it is a mere blink of an eye that initiates the action, transporting us to another memory in our lives. This memory might be of something occurring five minutes from now or several years into the future. In many instances, this can be perplexing, yet each serves a distinct purpose. Even if you manage to resist blinking, those moments will not be eternal, and eventually, they will pass. Although the gameplay is simple, as previously described, it aligns perfectly with the message the game developer aims to convey. Trust me, if you are somewhat emotional, the message will resonate with you to the point of tears.

The premise may seem simple, but I assure you that the story in Before Your Eyes is one of its most extraordinary surprises. When you truly grasp what has transpired, you will be deeply moved. In the blink of an eye, everything can change, leaving you to wonder what remains for tomorrow. What if there isn't another chance? Before Your Eyes will demonstrate that an engaging narrative combined with exceptional gameplay can profoundly alter your perspective on life. If I could, I would not only gift this beautiful game to my closest friends but to every special soul in the universe. Please, give it a chance—you won’t regret it, of that I am certain.
