Edit 3: How silly of us to believe that was the final update. It seems Terraria will be updated for eternity, for our benefit, for no charge. Two thumbs up.

Edit 2: Terraria's final update was a fantastic capstone. What a masterpiece, these devs are the best.

Edit 1: Thousands of hours behind me, and I must say thank god someone helped me get into this game. After that initial learning curve, it's been one of my favorites. I'm not too into it single-player, but playing co-op with 1 or 2 friends is nice and serene (and at times action-packed!) and tons of fun.

I've also run a public server that got quite busy. A different kind of fun, and tons of stuff got built, but then you have to deal with.....THE PUBLIC.

I recommend a mod called tShock that leaves the game's content unchanged, but gives you more control over things. Achievements should still work:

Finally played this. As long as you have the internet, or a friend, to guide you, this game is super fun. Just not very intuitive or easy to figure out what you're supposed to do :)

Yes you're about as valuable as a 4chan cookie's 4chan.

Because you value harmony, you may find yourself giving in to others too easily, especially in
the first half of life.
