Game's alright I guess.

I don't usually write reviews for anything but I honestly cannot recommend this game enough for fans of simulation games. The simulation is deep enough to drown in if you're not careful but it's easily the best out there. The world generation is second to none and comes with a long history generated along side it.

The UI and controls are admittedly really clunky but still a huge improvement over the traditional ASCII setup. The visuals look beautiful and makes the game so much easier to look at compared to the ASCII graphics.

That being said though, the game is not kind to new players or casual gamers, it's a lot better than it was but due to the nature of it will never really be easy to pick up and play without destroying the experience. The graphics - while they look great - aren't really for everyone, pretty old school and not to everyone's appeal. And as mentioned before the controls are a little clunky and the UI isn't the most intuitive.

I do strongly implore anyone who wants to try the game to give it a shot and remember, losing is FUN!

Fantastic game, sure there are alot of bugs, but still worth much more than it's price!
