Do NOT trust the reviews this game is legit broken.
It started out alright until weird animation and model errors cropped up (Example being invisible bread after feeding birds)
Until finally I encountered a bug where after inspecting a certain car, Character became invisible and seemingly stuck in a random area that I could not ascertain the position of as the camera then became locked onto a signpost unable to shift or change.
Before all this happened I've had weird movement issues such as Manny moving in random directions or away from entrances and objects I was trying to interact or move into.

This was the last straw. Doublefine should be ashamed of themselves releasing a remaster of a beloved game like this and leaving it in a broken state like this for approximately 8 YEARS.

I badly wanted to hate this game for months after it came out but after playing it to completion I can safely say RE4R is a phenomenal reinterpretation of the original bringing a pokemon ORAS Esq style to remaking the original game in a very different but true to form manner whilst bringing in new improvements and features to the current RE engine series of RE games.
They ensured that the original games length was preserved without the need of padding although you will find things either removed or swapped or new things added.
None of it feels like RE3 where it was done for time constraints mind you, It's simply a matter of how the devs wished to reinterpret the original game whilst having brand new level design with returning levels being re imagined in a whole new light.
This game acts an alternate interpretation of the original to fit within the current cannon but not as a replacement as if you preferred the more happy go lucky atmosphere and woman respecting Leon of the original then you won't find that here. This game raises the horror aspect significantly and adds neat surprises and changes from the original that I think Vets and newts will enjoy regardless.

As a port it is still broken out of the box with another poor implementation of DX12 and DRS being on by default which was not designed for PC.

The game runs with stutters if you have vram lower than 8 gigs though you can alleviate this with -dx11 in properties and DXVK as well as mods to disable DRS and whatever else you may want to disable as the game provides little to no options for graphics customization and has poor vram management.

You are in for a world of headache if you want this to run half decent on steam deck. Do yourself a favor and just get the drag and drop DRS disabler mod as using the FF7hook is a headache and disabling TAA provides severe dithering on hair and shadows which makes it unwatchable in my opinion

Nekojishi>Major minor

Why? Quality beats quantitiy. Although Nekojishi doesn't feature some fancy intro or graphics it still has an incredibly unique charm with purpose and a unique and not so generic art style witha story that will leave you speechless with its impactful endings and a mystery that will you both shocked and intrigued. Where it shines over major minor is the passion that was poured into it and the dedication that goes into making this the perfect visual Novel for furs and men alike.

Also I'm biased and seeing the trailer for major minor kinda spooked me with its fanciness.. Nekojishi is my personal favorite Visual Novel purely for how unique it is. It feels more like a piece of art than a product That MM is. Better than Morenatsu even although to be fair that was never finished but it was my first.

I didn't like the gameplay initially and thought it was boring and the music too. But then I grew to love and realized I was wrong. This gameplay is something you grow to love and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I love cuphead and it's amazing art style and flawless animation. I have no complaints or problems with the game. It'd be stupid to complain about anything insignificant on the game. It's practically flawless. You Just need to learn to love it. A lot of people say the music is great and personally I love but at the same time I have a hard time distinguishing the differences between songs but that's probably because it's hard to hear for me. The music doesn't have to be sonic level. In fact the more I played the better it was for me and now I can't stop bouncing like I'm in a 1930s cartoon. The music just gets me riled up
