Dark Souls 3 is a fantastic game and likely the final entry in the Dark Souls series. If you've played Dark Souls 1 and 2, which I highly reccomend, this game is very much more of the same. This is probably a good thing if you're a fan of 1 and 2, but it might come off as a bit disapointing for some, but Dark Souls 3 is a good execution of the Souls formula with some of the mechanics present in FromSoftware's PS4 exclusive: Bloodbourne. Rolling is faster and more spammable, attacking and healing was spead up, and bosses are as agressive as ever. The entire game is very loose, and in my opinion, easier than any of the other games in the series. If the previous Dark Souls games seemed fun, but their difficulty intimidated you out of playing them, this game could be a good starting point. Even for the hardcore veterans of the series looking for a new and more interesting challenge, you'll likely still find the game fun. The DLC - Ashes of Ariendel - holds to the series long tradition of having DLCs be some of the best content in the games.
