SOMETHING SMELLS LIKE ♥♥♥♥! Literally wasted potential and a scam. They over-hyped this like we'd actually get the vehicles with quirky functions as special projects but instead it's just models you'll never look at because when the ♥♥♥♥ do you play this game fully zoomed in

I cannot recommend this game enough, it has a great story and interesting combat that feels incredibly rewarding once you master it and absolutely gorgeous music. The devs don't want you to beat the game by accident and you can really feel it in the final boss which I love. Don't go into this expecting it to be exactly like Hollow Knight like some other morrons, just enjoy it cuz it's a cool game you found on the Steam market.

This DLC isn't very good. It feels rushed and unpolished, trees and focuses are unbalanced and either too weak or too strong and the Indians paths are too memey.
I generally like the DLC in the countries it expands upon. I had fun playing all of the 4 nation's focus trees (some more than others).
However the critique overshadows the fun.
Iraq: I loved playing through Iraq, the country feels balanced and well designed. My criticism here falls onto the Kurdish part of the tree. I'm not opposed to the idea of a Kurdish tree but it's too unrealistic to simply become Kurdistan as Iraq. Other than that the focus tree isn't too unhistorical and lots of fun.

Iran: I've definitely not played Iran enough to speak about the whole focus tree but what I have played was fine. Again the focuses aren't too unrealistic and the tree gives you many options and play styles. However there are a couple of focuses that stand out. There's a 70 day focus that gives you 2% research speed and 1% stability which is overwhelmingly bad, then again you can do a 70 day focus basically 2 months into the game that gives you a 2 year ahead research bonus for rocket technology.

Afghanistan: I've played Afghanistan the least so far, but the tree does look really fun, you're also not locked into one singular ideology, similarly to Switzerland or Romania but designed in a way better way.

India: Oh boy, India. This tree is all over the place. You have 0 incentive to even touch 60% of the focus tree ever! You have no realistic option of aligning yourself with Britain other than the meme path of becoming the East India Company (not counting Gandhi here)! 3 of the 6 paths are complete meme paths and the tree as a whole seems barely play tested. Don't get me wrong it's a lot of fun but it leaves a lot to be desired for role play potential.

Conclusion: Paradox should've taken more time making this mod, I believe people who really care about it wouldn't mind one bit. They shouldn't feel pressured by mods that may have already given focuses to the new countries and just do their own thing. And most importantly, I love meme paths, but please keep it to a singular meme path per country, 2 at max, and don't make them mandatory for a certain play style.
Don't buy this DLC over any other, buy the Expansion Pass instead.

Wishes: First, please give us better options for peacing out with major nations, I don't wanna be drawn into the world war for declaring war on my neighbor who suddenly joined the Axis just because he was fascist.
Second, please give us options for unhistorical! You are completely unable to run an unhistorical game nowadays because it's just utter chaos. Instead give us "options of unhistoricalness". An option that makes it unhistorical but still somewhat realistic (for example no communist Japan or white Russian revolt), a middle option that allows most unhistorical paths but no meme paths (East India Company), and just a complete random option.

I really hope someone at Paradox reads this and if they don't it might help you make a decision about buying this.

Do not listen to the negative propaganda about this. Democracy Officers have been informed about the treason and traitors have been investigated and sent to labor camps for reeducation! Do enlist and recommend to all your familiars to protect all democracy abiding citizens of Super Earth. For Democracy!

I genuinely didn't think I'd enjoy the game at first because it was a turn-based kind of game with click to move controls, but I decided to try it out none the less since I love DnD and friends recommended it to me. Safe to say its definitely one of my favorite games now. So i encourage all to try it out even if the general controls of the game seem unappealing. (also theres mods now for WASD movement and more)

This game combines my two favorite things in the world, Roguelikes and Gambling!!!

This games is making me realize that i need therapy badly the more and more i play it.
I like this more than the original because it has less choices, more different stories to get through and less repetition.
I'd still recommend playing the original though.
Either way, I better get my therapy sessions planned out.

Don't buy this unless you want to support the modders who did this.
There are plenty of free mods out there doing what this "Content Pack" is doing but way better.

Stop historical censorship

They promised to care for my family if i work for them. I've lost at least 100 crew mates by now and I think I'm starting to go insane. I don't even remember my families names. I often see a little girl running towards me but i can't remember taking my daughter with me.
10/10. Best 10€ spent on a game in the last decade or so.
