I love games. I consider making games an art form just as valid as making movies, or writing, or painting... but I'll readily admit that most games, like most books and movies, are just entertainment.

This game is not one of those. This is real art. It is a deeply emotional experience as few games are. It actually made me cry on occasion, which is something only one or two other games have ever managed.

The beautiful art style, cute character design, perfectly timed music and amazing writing is put together as perfectly as I can imagine. A perfectly composed whole. It will pull you in and lull you into thinking you are going on a charming adventure with you cute spirit friends. And then it will break your heart a little, and lift you up a little, every time you need to say goodbye to one of them.

You should play it. If you have a heart. You won't regret it.

Well, I think any Grand Strategy game that I've somehow managed to put 1000+ hours into deserves a review.

Do you like grand strategy? Do you like sci-fi? Have you ever wanted to recreate your favourite sci-fi empire/nation/civilization and lead it in conquering/destroying/protecting/uniting the galaxy? Then Stellaris is the game for you.

I don't really know what to say.

This game is amazing in every way. The combat is satisfying, the music is glorious, voice acting is grade A and the art style amezeballs. The various difficulty settings, powers and weapons in this game makes every loop the death/try again cycle of a rouge-like fun and interesting.

What keeps me coming back though is none of the above. What draws me is instead the story, and the amazing interpretation of Greek mythology and the characters that are portrayed in this game. As you make attempt after attempt to escape the underworld the story is slowly unraveled to you over time and you grow closer to the characters involved.

I'm not going to actually spoil any of the story though.
Go play it yourself. It's great- 11/10

With this game (and discord/teamspeak/other voicecomm) you can have the boardgameing evenings you love, even if you can't get together in reality.

The DLC content is great quality from what I have seen (I haven't tried all of them) but the real selling point for this game is the workshop, you can find almost any boardgame you can whish for as a workshop mod and usually they will work great. If you loe boardgames, buy Tabletop Simulator, you won't regret it.

10/10 for gamplay, mood, graphics, music, mood and all that. 11/10 for the stories, the fishing and the chill. Would inherit a farm out in the boonies and bacome a farming maniac again. Six Stars.

I was playing last night when I discoverd that the clock was sneaking up on 1 AM. I thought "I'm just gonna finish this quick war and then I'm goint to sleep". I finally went to bed at 5:45 AM.

I highly recommend this game... what else can I say.
