I bought this game thinking it was a brand new Road Rash. Unfortunately, it is not that. While this game is clearly inspired from Road Rash, with a healthy dose of motorbike combat involving pipes and kicks, this is a completely different game. Road redemption is a motor bike racing, action, rogue-lite game (No, I'm not making that up). You do a run, see how far you can go, upgrade yourself and go for another run. You can also purchase certain temporary upgrades in between races as well. While this game is no means a bad game, I didn't really like it. I went in expecting a road rash successor but got something entirely different. It is a decent and very compelling rogue-lite racing game (the only one I've ever seen in fact) and my only serious complaint is that the progression can be a bit tedious and super slow. It's going take you several runs (and a lot of dying) for you to complete or at least get a decent number of upgrades. If you want to play an interesting racing rogue lite game, and don't mind the slow/sorta-grindy progression, then I do recommend this. But, if you're like me and wanted to just jump in and play an updated and upgraded Road Rash, I can't recommend this.
