Stardew Valley is an amusing farming simulator, where farming is not the only thing you'll have to do.

• A good chance you'll enjoy playing it, even if you've never played similar games.

• Option to play alone or with friends.
  
• Controls and interface easy to deal with.
  
• A game easy to play overall, except when you want to catch certain kinds of fish, you'll know what I'm talking about if you ever play the game :) .
  
• Old school RPG graphics and textures nicely done.
  
• Very nice and fitting music.
  
• It allows mods (external mods, mainly from Nexus Mods site).
  
• Good storyline. Speaking with the locals is a must, if you want to go further with the game story. You'll find yourself in a few funny situations sometimes.
  
• Create relationships with the locals and gift them ocasionally. Choose having best friends or even marry someone! Try not to piss them off ;P!
  
• There's always something to do in it, no matter how much you have progressed in the game.
  
• Quests. You'll get mostly from NPCs. There are different quests for you, though some can be a little repetitive.
  
• Assist to events in the town or in the surrounding areas in specific times of the year.
  
• Fight with enemies through the mines, you won't only be rewarded at a point, but it will make your life easier for you to mine ores in peace.
  
• The available mines in the game include several levels, some with more or less precious stones.
  
• A large variety of items of several kinds, including many types of vegetables and fruits.
  
• Item-crafting feature.
  
• You can buy things from the NPC shops and markets.
  
• Build and decorate your farm and house as you wish.
  
• The farming feature was well-thought. Pay attention to details, to prevent crows from stealing your seeds or even your crops from dying.
  
• The different seasons of the year will have influence in your crops. And it's amazing to see how the trees and grass everywhere will change, once the seasons change!
  
• The map could be bigger, but it has enough to keep you busy for several hours.
  
• A lot of secret things to find out through your gameplay.
  
• Character creation feature, with a good amount of choices in clothing, accessories and hairstyles.
  
• Ability of increasing the character's skills.
