One of the most hypnotically addictive card games I have ever played. You do not have to have any interest in poker to enjoy this game.

I want a full version of this game!!! Give me other floors! or harder difficulty with more obscure anomollies!

You've been doing so well Capcom . Get rid of this Enigma garbage please. Fantastic game but I would not recommend this game to anyone with this DRM.

I just came from Hades thinking I wouldn't find another worthy roguelike. THIS GAME IS INCREDIBLE.

Whether or not you are a fan of rogue-likes this game is an absolute masterpiece. From the buttery smooth combat , enormous amount of customization , endless amounts of dialogue... I can't stop oozing.

- There is nothing to put here as of yet. I am really trying to think of something that has bothered me or something I could really get them on but... I don't know? Perhaps it could have had true 21:9 support..? This is real nit-picky.


I got this game a while ago closer to it's initial early access release and played a few hours and thought it was really nice and then, proceeded to get distracted by all the other games on my backlog. I slept on this game for a while. I recently got back into it a few weeks ago (not knowing 1.0 was coming out) and really dug into it.

We could talk about how good the combat feels and how much customization there is with each weapon and how you progress your build, and we could talk about how good the game looks with it's pleasing colors and enjoyable atmosphere. Maybe say something about the catchy combat music , or the beautifully drawn art designs on all of the gods and NPC's, but what impressed me the most was the dialogue/story.

The combat loop is fantastic and you'll keep coming back for me don't get me wrong but the real gem of this game is the dialogue. It doesn't stop. This is a rogue-like and before Hades I had a certain expectation when I pick up this genre of game. There are only so many stages but your builds expand , giving you plenty of tools to rack up the hours and grind away.

But most games like this.. they don't have this kind of attention. The gods keep giving me new dialogues, The voice actors have created unique and wonderful personas for each NPC, and they keep talking to me with new things to say. The content of the story evolves in ways I never thought. The devs have really focused on every nuance, every little thing you do is noticed. You're rewarded for exploring every nook n cranny of the game in this way.

Hades is a masterpiece and has set the bar for this kind of game much higher than ever. Easily in my top 10 games of all time. Buy it now, and while you're at it - buy it for your friend who doesn't like rogue-likes.

This game feels something like Final Fantasy Tactics but lacks depth/any kind of complex system. Still fun though.

I was going to play just a bit this weekend but I can't put it down. Bravo Hopoo Games for an excellent gameplay loop and big upgrade from RoR1
