First off: I love the game. It's pretty awesome concept, and very different from what people normally play. It's refreshing to play something relaxing and not intense like your usual FPS.
I still don't recommend it though. Why? There are several reasons.
The engine is absolutely, and I mean ABSOLUTELY atrocious. It's a joke for a game that came out in 2014. Even on relatively high end PC (i7 3770K and R9 290) I can't get stable 60 fps (and no, it's not my fault). Sometimes framerate dips to 20-30 temporarily when switching vehicle lights on (wtf?). Or by simply turning around. Sometimes when simply looking in some direction it drops to mid 30's.
All of that in a game where everything but the vehicle models is an absolute joke. Trees almost look 2D with perfectly hexagonal trunks to give you just one of many examples. Actually, watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaKSTB6HOn8
Draw distance is so horribly low you can see circles around you where textures change into lower detail (yes that's possible). Trees and anything else on the map simply suddenly pops in instead of fading in and out at least somewhat. Textures are so low resolution they change into blurry mess when you get closer. Sometimes I think they were done by an autist on some bad drugs in MsPaint.

The company is very, very relaxed about releasing patches. The game IS (or at least it seems like it) under constant development, you get a DLC (paid or even free) once in a while, which is great, BUT the game is plagued by tons of more or less annoying bugs which get completely ignored despite being repeatedly brought up in the forums. What's worse, patches are only released once in several months.
For some unknown reason the company doesn't use english as the primary language to communicate with the customers, and unless you understand german, you often completely miss out on very important stuff, for example upcoming patches. Some things simply ONLY appear in the german section of the forums. That's extremely weird approach from a company that releases a game internationally and whose employees know at least basic english (the company is swiss I believe).
