Let me start this straight : This game has its troubles.

It has not the most breath taking graphics
It's AI has some issues from time to time
A good chunk of its quests don't make sense and story is kind of a mess

But the core gameplay is just genuine fun. Fun as in new games should have at least these systems : Ability to climb on large monsters/grapple smaller ones and the Main Pawn sharing system ( You basically share the latest save of your Main Pawn with it's Inclinations - which is how the AI will work with you- Equipments, Stats, Augments and abilities.)

The fighting is oh lord so responsive and dynamic, one minute you are attacking from afar with let's say a bow and the next second you are rolling about trying to get a good momentum to jump on some dragon do get to its heart.

In the end of the day, having this game in your library is a good thing.

Things to fix for a sequel (and please Capcom, stop with this MMO formula ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and make a second singeplayer entry ! ) :

-Splitscreen/multiplayer : I didn't understand why this wasn't a thing taking that you had a obligatory Main Pawn following you about and being a main plot line in the game even. I can understand that the game is then more difficult to players that somehow lose the Main Pawn ( It can die and then disapear until you visit a Riftstone). Splitscreen is really simple to add with a drop-in/drop-out system, with 2nd player taking control of the Main Pawn.

-Lipsync. Enough said, just please add some deatils for the dialogs suchs as : Moving lips. And when there's moving lips, make them sync with what's being said.

-More player-friendly stats-growth.

- Change the rating system of the rented pawns so you can rate them even when they die rather than having the owner getting a unfamous 3 stars - no comments - no gift reward for sharing is work.

- Better story. Well, this is tricky. The main plot line is fairly simple - and it's fine like that- and makes sense through the game and even further once you work for all the ending achievments. But the secondary quests that link to it. Please. These are a mess.

-Having less reskins and more unique items. - with the enchants being visible, that'd be nice

Anyway, the game is still incredible and show some really interesting points. I wouldn't give any numerical rating because it makes no sense but I'd say Go for it, buy it and play it. Really immersive.
