How can people who produce games think this kind of talk is acceptable. They lucky they waited to take everyones money before doing this.

I don't feel it's fair that a game that is as amazing as this is getting mixed reviews. The game overall was unbelieveable, the lore was on point, the gameplay fantastic, overall just a blast to play. This has been one of the few games thats come out lately that I have actually enjoyed.

Though I also played it starting on 11/15/16 so I don't know if it's because it patched before I got to play it or what, but I didn't experience any of the problems most of the people who are giving it a negative review. If I had the same problems I would probably be mad as wel, but I don't think thats a good reason to give a game a terrable review 1-2 days after release. ♥♥♥♥ happens with games all the time and I don't think people understand how much work is being put into these kind of original games.

TLDR: Ignore negative reviews, gameplay, lore, everything was amazing finally a good sequal game.

First off I want to address the main porblem people seem to have with it. Yes it is a short DLC, but clearly some people are confused because souls DLC have always been short with difficulty being the main time modifier.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
I think a lot of the people going in and saying "wow bad dlc beat it in 2-3 hours" are forgetting the biggest part of this DLC. It was made for Cathedral level characters, though really more lothric level. You are suppose to be around level 80 with give or take some more depending if your coming in on New Game+. I highly doubt many people here complaining are completing the DLC on level 80 characters in 2 hours because the challange is way higher. I'm assuming most people who are playing the DLC have already finished the game and when they get on they jump on their already beaten the game level 100-120+ characters and just go straight for the DLC. When you do this it causes the DLC to be "easy and more like trivial", some of the enemies are needlessly tough even at higher levels. I think thats what the biggest problem is, it wasn't made clear enough that this is not a end game DLC. Just taking a look anyone who beat the game in 2 hours probably was also 3 shotting all the enemies accept the larger foes who took maybe twice that. All those numbers should be easily doubled to triple or even more for the actual difficulty. This difficulty adds what a lot of people are complaining about with it being to short and easy. Though it can be said that harder enemies making the DLC longer makes for bad DLC, but that is what souls is all about. Enemies are made harder to make the game longer. Imagine if you came into the base game at level 200 and just stomped the whole game you could finish that in no time you would think its short, easy, and garbage. The same applies to the DLC.

I just want everyone to understand that and I understand if harder enemies making the DLC longer still frustrates you, but at least you are angry at it while understanding the intentions now. Guess that was more of a before you buy notice and less of a review so...

Loved the DLC. Short like all other souls DLC and it still amazing can't wait for the next.
