Sadly, this game in its current state does not live up to the name of its predecessor. Currently VERY EA with the meta being completely changed from one update to another. builds ranging from barely playable to completely wasting your time. Mobs currently feel overpowered because they are trying to implement a "slow and methodical" player play style with multiple skills being used to set up for combos. but taking 3 seconds to set up a combo which does barely any additional damage while enemies are bearing down on you in classic ARPG style just doesn't work. 0.2 dawn of the hunt was a failed update. hopefully they can fix it but I'm taking a break until they change the game greatly.

Brilliant arcade Extraction shooter. Fast games, with a few really nice twists on the genre. Most importantly the gunplay feels pretty good! Dev team are super active updating the game 3 times in 4 days, super responsive to bugs and anyone trying to exploit. If you enjoy shooters and like the Halo aesthetic give this a go. Tiny download size too at 5/6gb and runs like a dream as its built on UE5.

Such a shame. Been excited for this game since Project Reality. Followed along development only for it to go nowhere. Awful gunplay, Terrible bindings (multiple things bound to the same key which can't be split up? Ranging on the same key as an emote wheel? REALLY?). Awful performance at 4k resolution, with visual fidelity suffering hard at anything lower) the game barely looks acceptable at 4k)

The Idea is super cool, with awesome gameplay elements. Absolutely horrendous execution.

Incredible arcade FPS without the depth of playlists of the staples of the gene but with added PVE co-op, crafting, high rate of movement and excellent gunplay. Really happy to have found this game during the pre alpha testing and loving the game even more now that the launch is more global.

Great free to play FPS, interesting 3v3v3 gameplay. Large enough maps, variety of tactics that work. huge verticality in a lot of maps. tons of load out customisation, armour sets, attachments galore.
Only downside is the lack of playerbase during work/school times.

CS2 is better now than it was on launch. AC is still poor so go for 3rd party matchmaking if you want to play seriously.

Great high fantasy testing round for the upcoming MMO Ashes of creation. Currently Battle Royale focused but other game modes planned. Gorgeous graphics and reactive combat makes for a highly engaging experience.

I've been giving Planetside Arena a good go this past week, and have been happily surprised to find myself having a blast. Other than the glaring problems of low population, I've found a gem of a BR with a fresh take on the genre. Large scale battles with teamplay that carries over some of the best squadplay and tactical comms from Planetside 2. The inventory/Item upgrade system is simple and un-encumbering, allowing you to focus more on the tactical and teamplay based parts of the game. Lootcrates for mods/skins are earned rather quickly through the challenges, and player movement is fun and fluid, with the bike acting as a good "get out of ♥♥♥♥" tool as well as giving you the ability the push up quick onenemies and traverse the map with ease.

Players: Please give this game another go, or try it out if you haven't yet. Don't think of this as a BR, its only a BR in terms of the ring closing you in to a smaller and smaller area in which to fight, making sure that action ramps up and keeps the gameplay engaging and fresh. Think of it as a testing platform for systems and gameplay features that the devs are considering adding to Planetside 3. Its free for gad sake, and its hella fun I promise!

Devs: Please PLEASE PLEASE put some money into marketing this game. Low populations right now make the game a huge problem for the few people who are organically downloading the game and giving it a go. Your biggest USP in this genre right now is your squad based battles with a large scale ( 50 + players in 5 teams left fighting for the last small circle) and its just not an experience that they are able to see. And please. The BR genre seems like suicide to be marketing as with your fanbase. So pivot the focus to the testing platform your CEO hinted about in his recent interview and make sure everyone knows about it. I'd hate as much as you guys to see this game fade to history.
