After latest update, it pushes DEI propaganda in form of removing genders. I do not support this murican leftist ideology.
They should be ashamed of themselfs, this is completely unnecessary change after over 10 years, and will turn people off.
I wish I could get a refund.

The title did not lie, the Yellow Taxi did indeed go VROOM, and it was so much fun!

For Starter, works well on Steam Deck! (just have to set the buttons right)

In Time Thief you play as this cute thief named Bunny moon and your task is to steal different items for your ultimate goal...no spoilers!
You do this by sneaking around multiple floor buildings and not getting caught by the guards or other random people populating the area.

The game features cute and lovely characters and pixel art, many references to other games and fun gameplay. Even though at times the game is hard adn requires some problem solving, it never felt like it would get to your nerves, trying again is easy enough.
Bosses also break up the usual gameplay, each boss has their own gimmick and are very interesting and fun to figure out how to beat them.
You can also buy items to help you out in your runs!

And now where the game could certainly use some work.
-No fullscreen mode, you have to play in a window unless you force lower resolution on whole screen. Interestingly enough Steam Deck stretches window games to full screen so there it works very well, however its playing in non native resolution and resorts to pixel doubling in some horizontal rows, so the image is not perfect.
-Randomness, while it keeps the game fresh by switching the item locations and the people going after you, it also randomizes the difficulty... Sometimes theres a detective, ninja, sniper and guards all going after you, sometimes its only the guards, so each run is not same difficulty wise, this is especially bad if youre going for higher ranks.
-Not much time to stealth. Often the time limit is pretty tight which understandably keeps you moving, but if you wanna sneak and not get caught, it pretty much means you are gonna run out of time or at least lose on your score. Sometimes guards also keep walking around closed areas you wanna go to a bit too hard so you just HAVE to WAIT and the timer just dosent have much space for that.

But overall I had fun with this game and loved the art and characters. And I think it was the moneys worth.
So, I recommend you give it a try!

If you like Disgaea games, you're gonna love 7!
They jammed many new characters, and features into this release and I've enjoyed my time with this so far, and many more hours of fun to be had!

Now back to Grinding...
(Works great on the Steamdeck by the way!)

After 10 years the game is suddenly problematic and had to censored?
Riiiight, wish I could get my money back, because the main reasons I wanted the game was for the art, style and fanservice and its all now butchered. Its only matter of time when the replace the girls with who knows what for better ESG score.

Sad, I guess they just hated their gamers too much.

Early Access Review
If only all movie tie-in games were this good ! ! !

I was very positively surprised, its a great Roguelite and a very addicting at that, hard to put down. Always feel like you just wanna have one more go, for the hundre'th time.

Excellent smooth gameplay and nice skills to accompany you. It feels really fantastic when you get really powerful and start slashing through enemies in mass, but you still need to be on your toes, some of them may surprise you...
Game also features excellent music and great pixelart graphics. Its all food for your ears and eyes while you have fun playing it.

Chefs kiss! I highly recommend it and for the price you do really get your moneys worth.

This was one of the best, if not THE BEST kickstarted Mega Drive/ Genesis projects of 2022. And now conveniently on steam! Running through some sort of emulator with few settings play around with.

In the game you play as a knight and you are trying to bring back your lovely princess, But this is no easy matter, this game is HARD.

The game is essentially shmup and euro shooter (I think its called, games like Turrican where you can only shoot left or right) mix. It has a interesting gravity changing mechanic which brings a whole new challenge to the platforming. Few weapons to choose from all with their own strengths and weaknesses, they are balanced and each are good for certain situations.
Many interesting enemies, bosses and the gameplay does change up often to keep you on your toes.

The game is pretty tough, but they cleverly made it so that the sections are not too long and there are checkpoints along the way to not let you get too frustrated during the stages, and you want to keep trying to get little bit further to progress. And it does feel very satisfying.
The game is mostly fair if you have a keen eye, but there were couple of spots where theres no way to know where to drop or jump, so you have to make a leap of faith. Bosses have patterns you can learn, but some do however play a little bit too long and test your patience.
There are few difficulty settings, The normal one has infinite lives which is a good way to playthrough the game and explore the bosses. If you wanna punish yourself then go for the harder options which have limited lives.

The graphics are for the most part solid and clear, even some nice effects here and there. A little bit of mismatch with cartoony and digitalized diffused "gif photo" look few times, but overall good graphics.
The game really shines when it comes to sound design and especially the music, these are some rocking tunes from Mega Drive/ Genesis!

To summarize, this is an excellent game and I highly recommend to try it if you're into retro games and love a good challenge!

And, BTW- you get the Soundtrack and the rom file with this steam release too!

I got this game for steam free when backing the kickstarter for the Mega drive version.

This is a pretty short and linear experience, took me about 90 minutes to play through once, but I honestly dont regret buying it.
Visuals are serviceable, sound and atmosphere are great too, I like the designs of the places you play in and the controls are simple. Honestly at this price point cant say much bad about the game, I think I got my money's worth.
But, I'm a big Hololive fan, so that might influence my opinion of worth, someone not into hololive might see this offer very little content for that money.

This is a guilty pleasure of mine. I know people give it hard time and some assumed that the 10+ years it took to make this shows in the game, but that not the case. As we know it as it was started from scratch several times during those years.

Its a pretty average shooter game when you boil it down, they brought a lot of the old weapons back with some new ones, same goes for enemies, which is a nice treat for Duke 3D Fans.
If youre not familiar with Duke Nukem, I can see why wouldnt you like the humor and understand the character, but Im sure some fans will find it entertaining.

Overall, I think this a decent game when you look at it without taking into consideration the development time. Not a master piece, not complete waste of time, just average.
I do still hope we get to see Duke again and give him the proper treatment...Some day.

Best EA Game for 2020 and its a remaster.
Very faithful recreations and you can even switch the graphics back to make it look and feel close to the original. For the most part this is a good recreation with only small quality of life improvements like unit building queue, but most of the stuff is intact and thats how I like it.

I do have few small gripes though...
I cant recall if the A.I. was this dumb on hard in the original, enemies might place own buildings in a way that they block them selfs from advancing in map and collecting ore, hence making them extremely easy to beat. Also commanding own units is sometimes unresponsive and some units take different paths just because for a second own unit blocked something like a bridge hence they might go to enemy fire alone. Harvesters cant dump ore even if the Ore Refinery is free, because another harvester planned to drop its ore before and its across the map.
The other thing that does make me wonder is how surpricingly heavy the game is. This would be a nice 2D strategy game to play on a Pentium/Celeron based windows tablet on the go, but I cant play for long as the game get sluggish and unresponsive to clicks and commands real quickly when there are more buildings and units on the map. Some optimization would be nice. I think the original game used to work on a 100mhz pc, should work flawlessly on newer computers easy even with HD resolution and graphics.

But overall, very good game and a remaster, I would definitely pick this over the originals. Recommend if youre into C&C
