Pocketsand is a right, yes- a right emblematic of that greater right that all free people have to defend themselves- but it is also at the same time a privilege. A privilege we honor by respecting the power that we know all too well is inherent is this pocketed sand.

We must not "sha-shaw" willy-nilly.

We must have the discipline to see the petty injustices of our daily lives- to see a healthy man parking in a handicap space, or hear a teenager openly mock the elderly- and keep those injustices in proper perspective. When, at those moments, we MOST feel the desire to let fly we must instead unclench our earth-filled fists and find peaceful solutions or, even harder for man who has the caliber to pocket sand, walk away.

Save the sand for when you truly need it.
