For what its worth war thunder isn't a bad game. Listed as free to play is a joke tho. Its pay to play, its a amazing time killer and while the developers are constantly digging a deep grave for it. it still remains enjoyable. to an extent

The Game in its prime was a blast, it was ww2 tanks/prototypes/planes vs each other. it was fun, im glad they have added alot more but it has essentially doomed the game to certain play styles.
CAS is strong at low and mid tiers but come high tiers you are lucky to get too the battle field without catching a rocket off spawn, The drones are a utter pain in the ass to fight. bout the only thing worth any value at high tiers tbh. Which yes i know the more advance the SPAA the harder it is for CAS to actually support, but there is no balance between the two. one is either too good while the other is trash.

The Economy of the game is pretty much nonexistent the devs have constantly asked the community how to fix it only to never listen to answers, I understand its a Grinding game and its great at that. But when it be comes necessary for you too whip your wallet out and spend 20$ too just play the vehicles you already have unlocked. You loose enjoyment, its no longer fun its a part time job with no benefits. I understand there needs to be prices and repair costs high too keep the game balanced but there has to be a better way of going about it. People are bleeding silver lions and have no way of Saving them.

The most fun tier of this game has always been and will probably always will be the lower to mid tiers. your 1.0's - 6.7's You are almost guaranteed to have fun in between those. But it comes with the lack of moving up, you will never be able to research anything efficiently. Even with premiums you are left with no way to move up.

I have almost 3.3k hours in this game, do i regret it sometimes oh for sure, ive given the snail too much money it was fun, and im going to keep playing it, Ive been playing this "Free to play" game for 8 years now ive gotten my moneys worth out of it. i never made it a goal to max out one country so i still have alot to research, but no lions to afford anything.
