Some say obsessions are born from childhood memories, others believe they are woven into the very fabric of our souls. For me? It’s paws. Soft, delicate, perfectly shaped paws-aesthetic masterpieces that make my heart race and my instincts take over.

It’s an addiction I can’t explain, a primal calling buried deep in my DNA. The moment I see them in VRChat, my mind goes blank, my thoughts spiral, and suddenly, all logic is out the window. A simple flick of a digitigrade ankle, a lazy wiggle of toes, and it’s over—I’m gone. Lost in a trance where the only thing that matters is the sheer perfection of fluffy, small-to-medium-sized paws.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I try to behave, I really do. But when someone in full-body tracking casually lifts their foot toward me, I have two immediate thoughts:

I need to feel this.

I probably shouldn’t.

I mean, how does one simply resist? The temptation to touch, to massage, to bury my face into them is immensely difficult to fight off. It’s a battle between decorum and instinct, and let’s just say… instinct tends to win.

I know I shouldn’t go full gremlin-mode on someone’s paws the moment we meet, but deep down, there’s always this mischievous little voice whispering:
"What if... just this once?"

It’s a blessing and a curse, really. A Pawxistence filled with longing, internal struggles, and the never-ending challenge of keeping myself from immediately face-planting into a pair of perfect, fluffy soles.

And yet, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
