While DMC5 may have more depth as one of the greatest character action games of all time, this game easily dethrones everything in the entire genre. What an absolutely genius decision to build the entire core structure around the consistent heartbeat of the very world it takes place in.

So much love and passion has gone into developing this game and what John Johanas has achieved here with his team is nothing short of a masterpiece. For a game with so much soul to also be the most exemplary showcase of anything that could even possibly compete is a miracle.
