Ok here is the case the boss fights look amazing but depends lots on RNG for example Mentis Lords' double phase there is a huge RNG that can cost 1 hp ( even 2 if u are overcharmed ) after the vertical attack you dodge the dash sweep can just bump on your head without u can even react. this was just an example there is a lot more problems than this.
Maps are desinged to be hard but actually they are hard cuz they put a big AoE attack monster in a small half open box so cannot dodge a hit and when you die this doesn"t means it is hard!
Lasty "Ori and the blind forest" was better go buy Ori if you dont wanna dump your money into RNG gaming.
(((PS: the knockback on me when i hit is super dump. who ever made it with what kind of a think ???)))

I too beat the game without nail upgrades and charms, and also did no hit on every boss in the game.

every boss in this game is fair (except for one) and if you get you are probably just bad

Mentis Lords is a slow and easy fight with well telegraphed attacks. I played this fight without any charms or nail upgrades, and I found it to have a really enjoyable flow and theme. It is a fight I've never lost to so I would have liked it to be harder.
Absolutely everything in the game is very much beatable with a single mask of health I know because I did it and it is a speedrun category.
The self knock back is actually rather useful and I see it as a boon rather than a disadvantage.
I used to speedrun Ori and the Blind Forest, and it is a good game, though it was way too short, had very poor story, and was extremely hand holding, though on a totally subjective note, I did prefer the more saturated colours of Ori.
Short version: I fully disagree and you just need to get better.

There's no RNG in any of the fights. Every single aspect is calculated. You need to learn the patterns. You claim there's RNG in Mantis Lords? No, it's incredibly telegraphed in every aspect. You just have the reaction time of a brain dead slug. Sorry, not sorry. Don't call a game bad because you are shit at it. That's not fair to a good game.

If you want to get rid of the recoil from hitting an enemy with your nail, try equipping the steady body charm. It only costs 1 charm notch and can be bought from Salubra for 120 geo at the bottom right of the Forgotten Crossroads
