Recommended. Good singleplayer. Worth looking at for the current discounted price. Runs well, plays well, and looks good doing it.

I would rate it if i still had it in my steam library to play and finish. Just up and left one day. So, Let me say that my vote for thumb up or thumb down have no bearing on the actual game but more of the steam version of the game and what it has to offer over other methods of obtaining a copy of RTCW

I recommend but only if your a Fan of the film 'Alien'(1979) or if the game is discounted. Seriously, 39.99 regular price is still too high to get the attention of most people (over a year since release). But that is my opinion on pricing which should not deter from the fact that there is a lot of production value and time put into Alien Isolation. That being said I get the impression that the Alien AI and the game mechanics around it is well polished(i have not seen any gamebreaking bugs in that regard).

Despite the fantastic visuals the game runs very well and I assume most users can run it steady 60FPS at an HD resolution.

One thing that does bother me is the poor use of AA (anti-aliasing). I believe it uses some sort of SMAA. Now there is an FXAA option but i would sooner leave it off

ok i know i already wrote a review for this.
For the people on the fence about this one , or anyone who likd FC3 or FC4. Not going to say much. WHile not as long as FC3 and nowhere near the content in FC4, FC3 Blood Dragon is a solid title and decent PC port. This title has the ability to not be serious at all, in a good way but manages to tell it's story well enough for anyone to follow and care about.
As for the 80s Sci Fi nostalgia humor and you have seen 3 james cameron movies from the 80s then your getting more than you'd ever think just by looking at the screenshots.
I really enjoyed Blood Dragon and have played it through several times now.

First Impressions are not that great. I expected higher graphical fidelity for a title in the price range. I do plan to play more and get some idea of what the heck i bought.

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point is a peice of DLC for F.E.A.R. released in Fall 2006 for Microsoft Windows and later on Xbox 360. In an article by PC Gamer US, Fear XP is awarded the "Best Expansion Pack" in 2006. I would like to add that while FEAR does not have the graphical fidelity of newer titles the gameplay is unmatched when comparing this year (2019) titles, imo. For what it is worth i did not play any FEAR titles untill 2015 and i would like to note that i view these games without nostagia vision or rose tinted spectacles. If you can get past the issues with modern operating systems and hardware. Not to mention logitech hardware does not get on well with F.E.A.R. and will cause stuttering and other performance related issues, i urge you to give this series a go. Also it sounds pretty good in terms of firefights. 10 out of 10, go play it.

In a market saturated with first person shooters Hard Reset is a clear stand out . While being compared to old school shooters it does not fit that desription entirely as would something along the lines of games like the original shadow warrior ir serious sam. It is almost there , almost. Wherever Hard Reset sits in the First Person Shooter sub-genres, it does what it does very well and that would be fast paced action along with a killer soundtrack. Very enjoyable and not easy to put back on the shelf , so to speak.

What i think is the games biggest accomplishment , can also be a drawback . Im referring to it's two weapon system . There are customizations that give it more variety and can prove to be a challlenge to master in handling such upgrades.
Very Good Game.

One questions i often read on Steam's BC2 thread is "Is it any good" or "should i get it". Nice and easy answer forboth questions...
Yes.
While the game is simple and clunky compared to todays AAA Battlefield titles, there in lies one of its greatest strengths. KIS . Keep it Simple. (or KISS in my case Keep it simple , stupid).BC2 does have a larger skill gap than newer MMFPS titles , perhaps becuase of this.
Also the Destruction is straight ballin'
