So I beat the game within 4 hours and I had a good bit of fun and would recommend anyone to get this and try it, totally worth the eight bucks it cost me when I got it.

But let me get into the details...
The game itself has an amazing concept and there is huge potential, but it under delivers.
The stage design is a bit lacking, but is perfectly fine and the main gimmick (The Spell Coding) has parts there but it feels like it is missing somethings, like it wasn't expanded on enough.

Don't get me wrong it is an amazing product, but it feels like there could and should be more!
I hope they do more with it in the future!

Honestly one of the best VR socializing games out there.
Met many great friends through this game!

Its a bit awkward at first as you get comfortable socializing in VR (just like with any socializing online) but once you get past it, you can meet so many interesting people from the comfort of your home.
You can upload custom avatars and worlds too, which allows for such a high level of self expression that no other VR Social platform allows.

While people give the Devs crap for not allowing modding, it's understandable considering the level of freedom we already have with avatars and worlds. The Devs try their best to keep everyone up-to date on their plans and adding requested features.

Though I do have to bring up some problems...
As of writing this; the iceberg of a community in this game goes deep, stay at the top and you'll be fine and meet great people, go deeper and deeper, you will find very dark things. Kinda like the internet, know where to look and you can find the wrong kinds of people.

Basic summary:
Great for socializing and meeting people, but be careful of shady people, and probably not good for kids under 16.

Sadly the game died months ago, but I am finally getting around to writing reviews and this one had to be my first.

The game was slightly buggy but not unplayable, which made it fun.
It had a bit of a grind but it wasn't boring at all due to the unique community made islands, and The art style made it even better.
The PvP was a bit rough starting out due to high tier players going back to the starting areas, but that wasn't much of a problem till they introduced the PvE - PvP server split. Giving the option for players to have a server with no PvP was a bad idea and is what I believe killed the game.

The community split in half after that update.
the more kind and not aggressive going to the PvE server, and the battle hungry players going to the PvP server.
This caused the PvE server to be chill and slightly boring, with the PvP server being ruthless and hard to play on with out a pirate shooting your ship down every hour.
If this update was never added, the game would have been the exciting game it was.
The rush you got from seeing a ship off in the distance and not knowing what to do! Are they friendly? Are they pirates? do we shoot?! do we run?!
By adding the server split they killed the main thrill of the game, and in the end, the game its self.

I'd recommend watching this game in case it returns, don't purchase it if it does till they revert that change.
Everything else about the game was wonderful, and made it the most fun game I've ever played.
There are so many memories and friends I'd never have if it wasn't for this game, thank you Bossa for making it.

I still miss it, and wish for it to return one day.
Even if it doesn't, I will always say it's my #1 favorite game of all time.
May it rest in peace.
