My DBD Wishlist
1) REMOVE mmr from the base game. Bring back emblem-based matchmaking


2) Add a competitive mode with strict MMR
Include a "ban phase" i.e. killer removes Adrenaline, survivors remove NOED
Survivors / killer agree on a pool of maps to play on
Add a leader board for top survivor teams/killers


3) Add in-game statistics. We should be able to see everybody's average chase time, number of gens completed, etc etc in endgame


4) Allow optional proximity chat in game


5) Add custom flashlight lenses. You know how we have the ghost bulb for the flashlight that shows a spooky ghost? Allow people to upload their own insignia, or give us options to choose from in the store


6) Modulate perk strength depending on your opponent(s) MMR. No need to have a 4 second DS stun on a Pig that's new to the game. However, a 6 second stun for a top-mmr nurse is reasonable


7) Make 2v8 permanent


8) BHVR hires experienced consultants (Hens333, Otzdarva, Skermz, etc) to discuss and implement perk ideas, changes to the base game, and QOL improvements. The Fog Whisperer program is DEAD


9) Reward players for reaching P100 with a special cosmetic, or in-game emote


10) Introduce "Legacy 2" skins as a reward spending 100 million BP. You can choose 1 cosmetic per 100 million spent. Include cheeto particles but make them look different from Legacy 1. For example, make the particles blue instead of orange.


11) Un-link all set cosmetics not protected by a license

12) Add a killer bot so we can play survivor offline


13) Give a reward to people who are consistently given the "thumbs up" in post-game. Pair people of equal +/- rep together


14) Increase transparency from BHVR regarding data/statistics of the game. It is NOT ENOUGH to just show us kill rates, or usage rates


15) Give players the ability to choose whichever background music we prefer for any survivor. It is a WAR CRIME that only the resident evil characters get piano music


16) Give killer mains the ability to choose whichever chase music they prefer (on their end only). For example, I like the demogorgon chase music, but hate the hag's. I should be able to listen to demo chase music while playing hag.

20) If you find a bug in game and the devs recognize and fix it (on live servers), the devs should give you an exclusive "bug finder" cosmetic as a token of thanks. This would incentivise finding bugs and directly lead to a healthier, more bug-free experience

22) Labyrinth map where the tiles move around / change during the game in a predetermined pattern that survivors/killers can memorize


23) All BHVR devs should have to play a minimum of 1,000 hours of Dead by Daylight before getting promoted to a senior position in charge of map design, killer tweaks, and perk creation / changes


24) Add a perk randomizer you can toggle on/off before loading into a game

25) Add a survivor perk that allows survs to change the obsession

26) Be able to choose whether The Huntress throws hatchets with her right or left hand

27) Let us see our teammate's perks in lobby

28) Add a search function to our DBD Friends list, or make it alphabetical

29) Make totem progress regress, not delete (Assuming thrill remains unchanged)


30) Allow us to choose our own RNG in customs. Whether it's custom-building maps with in-game assets, choosing among preselected RNG sets, or giving us a slider bar to decide "difficulty," this would be easier than people think to implement. Remember, BHVR created Meet Your Maker!

31) Give people a 4 pip (1 grade) penalty per DC in addition to the DC timer. Too many people are going next without any consequence!

32) People who are reported frequently for intentionally throwing the game / giving up should have their MMR reset to 0

33) Add a "recently played with" tab so we can add anyone regardless of whether or not they're on steam

34) Add ghostface to 2v8
