What can I say about this simple but beautifully well put together game. Katana ZERO is a masterpiece of it's kind. A platformer animal and it is a very underappreciated game. It has a captivating story that changes slightly with in game decisions and the controls are easy to pick and hard to put down. Something feels just oh-so-right about deflecting bullets back at the bad guys.

The vibes this game gives off are HEAVY vaporwave, retro, cyberpunk vibes and it does it well. You don't feel like some hulky beefed up cyborg that is invincible. Just an incredibly skilled swordsman that has his own problems as well.

Much like other twist and turn games like Bioshock Infinite, this game will have you saying, "What the F**K?" It's subtly in bringing in new characters and story arcs are done well like a poorly cooked steak.

Some minor things to notice that shouldn't go unnoticed in a game like this are details as small as the audio distortion on drugs, the music that plays is accommodated by a track name and artist name for easy searching if you want to build your music playlist as well.

After all is said and done, this game is well worth the full price and if you can get it on sale DO IT.
